We had the most delightful stay in Lucy's beautiful house which is a short walk from Stamford's shops, cafes and restaurants. The beds were extremely comfortable, in fact it was the best night's sleep I've had away from home! Lucy couldn't have been more hospitable and had even baked a delicious cake for our arrival. Breakfast the next morning catered to all our tastes including the option of a full English which was equally delicious. Local attractions include Burghly House and Rutland Water where we enjoyed a boat ride around the lake after a visit to the nature reserve. All in all a great weekend!

There are many reasons why our stay at the Rutland Terrace B&B was so enjoyable but the main one is the owner and host, Lucy. From the minute my wife and I stepped through the front door, we were made to feel welcome. We were offered hot drinks immediately and we sat around the kitchen table for a chat. Before long it felt as though we were visiting a friend.|The bedroom at the top of the house was large, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and to top it off, a stunning view outside. The whole house has bags of character which makes the guests feel "at home".|Breakfast in the morning was a delight. It was one of the best cooked breakfasts we've ever had. It was freshly prepared by Lucy and there was plenty of it.|All in all, we left the house feeling thoroughly contented and refreshed. We both agreed that we have found a place in Stamford that we would definitely revisit.|Lucy, keep up the great work and see you again!

We did not want to leave this beautiful house! We had the warmest welcome, the house is stunning and the attention to detail was fantastic. With the most luxurious beds and linens to the delicious and spoiling breakfast - all locally sourced and so fresh - we could not have asked for more. And it’s in the most fantastic location in beautiful Stamford, but feels like you are in a country mansion. I cannot recommend Rutland Terrace enough.

We hugely enjoyed our stay at 10 Rutland Terrace and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wishing to explore Stamford, Rutland and the environs.

The owner, Lucy, welcomed us into her elegant home, and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and furnished with class. The breakfast was also excellent.

We stayed 4 nights at 10 Rutland Terrace and it was a delightful stay. The room we stayed in, top floor en suite, was very nice and perfect for our long weekend stay. Lucy the owner was a great host and very friendly and accommodating. Not all the rooms are en suite but don't let that put you off, the bathroom is only a short step away and very nice. We would thoroughly recommend this B&B.

We stayed with Lucy for just the one night but could have easily stayed for longer. We'd come up for a friend's 40th dinner and had only booked Rutland Terrace a few days before and I'm so glad we did. It's a beautiful house with lovely views and a very convenient short walk into the town centre. ||||The whole experience was wonderful, from the gorgeous room and fabulous decor to the charming hospitality and enormous breakfast we loved every minute.||||A real home from home and we'll be making excuses to visit again.||||Many thanks Lucy

Having never been to Stamford before we chose Rutland Terrace based on reviews and weren't disappointed. We stayed in the deluxe en-suite and it was well worth the extra money, the room was huge and the views fantastic!|The breakfast was lovely, and tailored to suit individual requirements.|Parking is an issue, and the stairs are steep for anyone with mobility issues, but the pro's far outweigh the con's.|I'm sure we'll be back in 2 years time for the next Georgian Festival!

This is the second time that I have stayed at 10 Rutland Terrace. Never did I think that it could eclipse the first, yet lo and behold it did surpass it and I realised every reason why I returned.||||From the offset one feels welcome here and after a long journey its all you could wish for. In the morning theres a feast of a breakfast laid out and every part of a full English is ready to go. Having been here recently I had seen Stamford in the sun before and Lucy was very helpful to suggest new outings and places to see in the area, I would highly recommend Burghley House and the surrounding bucolic gardens and landscape. It really is classic British countryside.||||I couldn't recommend a place to stay more.
