By far the best hotel in Norwich. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Graham to our lovely breakfast the next day, we were made to feel welcome. I went for the romance package, and it was well worth the additional money. I've attached a photo of the lovely display of roses and petals we found on the bed. My girlfriend was suitably impressed! Thank you!

Business traveller. Nice rooms. Comfy beds. Self check which is easy and fine. Breakfast was good but took for ever the first morning. No desk in the room, so no use to me as I often take evening calls.

We had a very comfortable stay at 38 St Giles. The hosts & staff were very welcoming and accommodating. |Our room was very comfortable, had a lovely boutique feel and everything that we needed. The location is great and we were able to walk around Norwich very easily. |Breakfast was very good and we would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a lovely two night stay at 38 St Giles Street during the cold snap at the end of November. The B&B is set in a historic building, with lots of character and interesting features. Our room was warm and sumptously comfortable; the staff were helpful with our questions before we booked and very welcoming on arrival. We appreciated them going the extra mile to provide for our vegan diet, with delicious in room cakes and an excellellant breakfast. We booked the Nelson Room, on the ground floor. I think the room door seals might need some attention as during the day we could hear people talking in the entrance hall very clearly and there was a bit of a cold draught when the main door was open. These were minor things, which didn't detract from our stay.

Although we live only 40 minutes away, we like to come overnight in Norwich to enjoy a good meal with wine, so book a hotel overnight. I hadn't booked 38 St Giles before, as am not keen on a B&B, this is not a typical one, more like a hotel with very limited facilities but perfect for a city break. It is now our favourite in Norwich.||Throughout, it is decorated with taste and of quality, the rooms are very comfortable, nothing lacking. We stayed in Mancroft which I chose after browsing the other rooms, it did not disappoint. Includes many thoughtful touches such as: 2 large bottles of still and sparkling water, a Nespresso coffee machine with a flask of fresh milk (also kettle & tea), a plate of delicious brownies. The bathroom is tiny but no need for anything else, the shower is hot and powerful, little bottles of L'Occitane are provided, dressing gowns too. ||Delicious breakfast next morning was served by the charming and efficient Rory who is also a student at UAE, so interesting to talk to as well.||We will be back.

Stayed for one night, wanted somewhere central and traditional to explore City from. Building is beautiful and my room was perfect. Lovely decor, very comfortable bed, and delicious breakfast. Couldn’t have asked for more!

An absolutely wonderful stay in luxury rooms with the best cooked breakfast you could wish for. Beautiful surroundings and friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Our third year and hoping for many more. Thoroughly recommended.

Invited to a Sunday christening of gidson’s daughter outskirts of Norwich, a drive from home 380 miles so decided to make a short break. Searched for a while and came across this boutique Bed and Breakfast on the centre of the city. From the initial booking to the departure the staff were just brilliant great service could not fault them. We we’re delayed arriving due to traffic problems but Gary who was on duty reassured us not a problem on arrival helped us with luggage to our room voids is at the back of the building steep staircase but communal area well decorated with some lovely artwork. Room was clean spacious and just fab |Bed was so comfortable |Breakfast was well served individually prepared the full breakfast best I’ve had for many years |Could not recommend more highly |Would love to return soon |Thank you
