We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, the location was perfect, the hotels decor was bright and cheerful. We chose to stay here as we assumed the sofa bed would be more comfortable than the hotel chain we would normally book.

Regrettably the sofa bed was harder than the hotel floor. The sofa bed Does not have any kind of mattress, just rock hard cushions with no recoil. We asked reception if there was anything we could do to get a better bed for our children but regrettably all of the sofa beds are the same. They offered to bring extra bedding but 1 hour later we were still waiting. Another journey down in the lift to reception.

The hotel provided an extra blanket to aid comfort to the rock hard bed - we have a 10 hour flight in a few hours and it certainly isn’t going to be a comfortable nights sleep for my children. They offered a complimentary breakfast which we will not use, we are up early in the morning and none of us are breakfast people.

I certainly would not recommend nor book again if we came with children. The double bed is comfortable for adults, so if it was just me and my husband we would book again - if we deserve a comfortable bed so do my children. Nice hotel but awful sofa bed.

Staff are polite and friendly but sadly we will not return.

I love this hotel. Sparkling clean, large rooms, new clean, amazing customer service and 5 minute walk from Terminal 2 Manchester Airport so no cab charge.

Every employee was very helpful and kind — Becky checked me in yesterday and I want to commend her personally for being extra kind and helpful.

I love the breakfast buffet — many options for every palette and they start serving it early — 5AM so I had enough time to eat and catch my flight at 8AM.

I also really like their room service food. I for some odd reason assumed it would not be good initially but ordered the chicken burger and it was great! Fries, coleslaw, the whole thing — brought up very quickly by very efficient staff.

I will be back here in December again so I look forward to ordering more room service while I'm being ultra lazy for my international flight. They also have some great looking Indian food and some very interesting and exotic Turkish food — like Turkish pizza.

The hotel is quiet. clean and comfortable, staff couldn't be nicer and it simply can't be beat if you want to be close to the airport — I had two enormous suitcases and it was a breeze. If you need to be close to the airport in Manchester — this is the spot. I saw many pilots and airplane crews staying here — does not surprise me as they know the good spots. I highly recommend this place!

Previously stayed at the Ibis Budget Hotel which is adjacent to the Holiday Inn. It was fine for a night, however it is nothing like as good as the Holiday Inn. The latter may be more expensive by about 25 to 30 GBP per night but if money is not an issue, then the Holiday Inn is worth it.||10 minutes walk easy walk from the railway station via Terminal 2. Check-in simple. Several emails received the days before arriving with reminders and confirmation number etc. ||Staff polite and professional. Lovely food in the restaurant, bar area clean and reasonably priced considering the location. ||Room was very clean, comfortable big bed, wifi was excellent. The usual sachets of coffee and tea with a kettle. Shower/shampoo liquid in plentiful supply. Towels clean.||Only issue I had was that the room was too hot for me. Despite it being October and maybe only 9C outside, the windows could not be opened and the air-conditioning was not able to be switched to lower the room temperature. It was almost as if heating had been on. ||Overall, great location, clean, professional staff, good restaurant. Would I return in the future when travelling via Manchester Airport.....?|| Yes, I definitely would.

Great hotel. Great location. Great breakfast.
Predatory parking charges. Parked to drop off luggage and my 3 year old and wife and got them to the room. Was parked for around 12 minutes and got a £60 fine. Also had to drive through airport and pay another £5 just to get to the hotel. This whole area is a joke for charges and makes me want to use a different airport entirely. If you stay there be very careful where you park. Hotel should abandon the parking charges or should have a larger area for dropping off so charges are not an issue for drop off. Very disappointing.

This was the best choice we made!! The hotel is just 5-7 min walk from terminal 2.|The Turkish restaurant on site was reasonably priced and food amazing. |The room was so comfy with a great mattress/bedding and a powerful shower! No biscuits ? but tea/coffee ?|One of the nicest, hot hotel breakfasts I have ever had and even a good gluten free selection! Breakfast from 3am and hot buffet from 5am ?.|The highlight are the staff who, without exception were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Becki on reception and chef for buttery scrambled eggs that made my heart sing ♥️. |The best way to start a holiday if you have an early flight!

Excellent hotel, very clean. Friendly staff on reception. We didn't have breakfast, but we did have a meal in the evening which was lovely. Waiting on staff also very attentive. Couple of minutes walk to T2 departures that is all. Very convenient, and NOISE FREE considering we were on the airport !! We never heard anything, had a good night's sleep.

So far the best holiday inn hotel I’ve been experienced. Good location convenience to T2 mostly and T1&T3. Services is very good start from FO to F&B. The room is cozy design and comfortable for my family to stay. And it is so quiet no any noise from the airport, we sleep deeply. The restaurant is very good with authentic dishes and wines.

Landed super late into Manchester so pottered along to the hotel. Booking was great and the evening staff (farhiz I think his name was?) was super lovely. Got into the room and it all fell apart, hair in the bed both long and shaved somehow, shower went from clap cold to scolding hot, hairdryer body was cracked in half and to top it all off on the window was several lip stick marks and what I can only describe as "nipple smears" spoke to the lovely lady at reception on the way out and got offered a "complimentary coffee" I get hotels are hit and miss sometimes but at 140 quid for a room that isn't clean that we are only in for 8 hours seems a bit rich.

Go up
