The spa facilities are endless and the new outdoor terrace was fantastic. We tried a large variety of food and at different times of the day, all was flavoursome and well cooked. It was great that they catered for dietary requirements. Our garden room was large, with comfy beds and it was very clean. The rooms did get very hot, even with a window open and radiator turned off. The grounds are perfect for a stroll and it’s in a gorgeous rural location with views for days.

My friend and I have just had the most amazing weekend. The settings and gardens are beautiful, which we saw as we travelled around on fabulous electric bikes. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff are so caring, helpful and very attentive.
The food is Michelin star quality and so fresh, we enjoyed every meal.
The treatments were the best we have had, so we came home fully relaxed.
The improvements made have definitely made this the very best spa we have ever been to.
Well done to all the management and staff for making our stay perfect!

Absolutely outstanding spa resort. I booked the indulgent weekend break as a surprise for my fiancée for his birthday and in his words, it is a birthday he will never forget. The hotel and spa are out of this world. Food is perfection. Presentation was 10/10. The facilities within the spa are out of this world. We were a little sad that the hydrotherapy pool was having work done however it is an excuse to come back again! This hotel has it all. Outdoor trails, amazing garden, fantastic spa. Our package included two treatments and left us feeling relaxed and brand new. We were so sad to leave and have already started planning our next visit!

Friendly staff and fabulous facilities. I love the roof terrace. My biggest gripe is that all sofas, beds, hot beds and seats were reserved with towels and belongings when people weren't using them. This was really disappointing and ruined the experience as we couldn't make the most of the facilities to relax where we wanted to. A large part of the spa was being renevated which is fine but it would have been nice to have been informed at the point of booking and also arrival. Instead we found out as we walked around. Also £7 for a very average and small hot chocolate!!

Me and the missus having been coming here for 15 years, we have seen it transform from a chintzy stuck in a time warp place to a world class spa and country hotel||The staff are excellent but would like to make a special mention to Donna and Jess. They are 2 of earths angels. They made my 21st Anniversary so special I can’t thank them enough and hope to see them soon with my newbie daughter who wants her sweet 16th birthday here Feb 19th ladies if your reading this ❤️?||The place is so amazing and you are truly made to feel like your Lord and Lady of the manor and feels like our second home||So many different areas of wonderfulness you are spoilt and the drinks and cuisine are delicious|||So Hoar Cross and it’s Team thank you very much|||Love Donna & Daniel

Booked a £3100 6-night stay 2 weeks ago and whilst booking was assured that all facilities will be open.

Today (3 days before arrival), I received an email to say the hydrotherapy pool will be closed throughout my whole stay for a planned refurb - sounds like it will be out of action for quite some time.
I assume this will result in the alternative pool being twice as busy until works are complete.

I feel slightly mugged off that these planned works were not disclosed to me before spending £3100 just 2 weeks ago, hence the premature review.

I will of course update my review once I've actually stayed.

Just returned from a 2 night spa experience at Hoar Cross Hall and I have to say, it was excellent. Service was outstanding, from the moment we arrived. Restaurant food was very tasted, and we appreciated the perfect sized portions. The new outside terrace is great we enjoyed the warm steamy spa pools.

Came to stay for our 5 year anniversary and really loved it. Probably the best spa we've been to in the UK.
Opted for an overnight stay with 3 course dinner, brekkie and 3 course lunch.
The food was fantastic and the staff throughout the venue were really helpful and genuine.
We had treatments on the second day which were also amazing and the new terrace area is the perfect place to relax on a sunny afternoon.
The 3c cold water plunge was also really cool to have a go at.
Wish we could have stayed longer - We will definitely be back.
