On Saturday 21st Sept, myself and families from Hull, York and Leeds attended the wedding of my daughter and her partner and found the service here fantastic. All staff members were very pleasant and extremely helpful. |The food on both Fri 20th and at their do was lovely, even catering for vegan options in our party. The rooms were clean. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and husband and wife now on their mini honeymoon. |I certainly would recommend booking weddings here. Thanks for a great weekend.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, just before our morning flight from the airport. East check in and out. £5 parking for 24 hrs. WiFi is £7 for 24 hrs but luckily we got good phone signal in our room. |Before hand I emailed the hotel to ask for a ground floor room and an extra bed they accommodated the extra bed but not the ground floor room. Although the lady in reception said we was in a family room with were in the 2nd floor which was fine. Beds comfy and plenty of towels and toiletries. I did miss a fridge as last time we stayed we had a fridge in our room. The other thing to note is the shower wasn’t very powerful so took ages to wash my hair. |Vending machines were cash only so we had to buy some drinks from the bar - was busy with coach trips.|We didn’t use any other facilities so can’t comment on those. |I would stay again if we were flying from the airport but don’t think I could do more than 1 night stay.

Chose this hotel specifically because I grew up in the village and it has a pool and decent car parking - was pretty surprised hotel guests have to pay to park in the hotels own car park in a small village - which is really poor! Room itself was clean if a dated - bathroom needs overhaul but was clean - enough - bed was comfy - I asked at reception about using the pool - went and put all my bags in the car, walked all the way the length of the hotel to be met with a sign to say pool closed - the main reason I had booked to stay in the “spa hotel” - would have helped if the reception staff knew this to save me trekking across the whole car park and back through the hotel to learn it myself?! The staff I spoke to were very polite though.

Stayed two nights as I had business meetings locally and wanted something for c£100/night. ||Hotel is very dated and whilst it’s advertised as a full service hotel and spa, it’s anything but. ||The rooms were dated, but functional with working showers and utilities. However what is now standard in pretty much every hotel is additional here, or not even provided, at this one. ||List includes;||* Rooms being made up in multi night stays. No housekeeping visits so you’re on your own. If you want some clean towels or toiletries you’re walking to the reception in the adjacent building and getting them yourself.||* In- room safes do not work. Called to ask if a new battery can be fitted and the response was ‘most do not work anymore and nobody can come and fix it’. When I asked where I can safely leave my passport and laptop, I was told it was safe to leave it in the room, ‘it’s a safe area and we haven’t had any go missing’. Not sure how that would work with insurance and the UK is no Dubai crime wise. ||* £7 for WiFi in the room , which you need as the hotel is on the outskirts of a village and has limited reception. This is per day and per device ! ||* Parking - despite being in the middle of nowhere its chargeable, and you will be lucky to find a space. The hotel is used as a car park for the local airport with traveller staying the night and leaving their car here for their holiday. As a result it’s full. ||* Other niggles include no power plugs near a bed to plug in a phone charger, poor / non existent phone signal and basic bedding. ||Overall there are better similarly priced hotel in the surrounding areas.||Didn’t visit the leisure facilities so couldn’t comment.

Ignore the negative reviews. Just back from a two night coach trip stay. Yes, the hotel could do with a little freshening up but the staff were great, the food selection was good for dinner and the hotel was very quiet. Great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights Friday Saturday 20th to 21st sep 24 first impressions that it reminded me of a care home that the hotel needed a makeover , the room I was in was in a tired condition worn carpets, black mould in the bathroom that someone had tried to poorly fill over it with filler. no heating just cold air from the air conditioning reported this to reception but no one came to fix it. The wi fi is extra £7 a day for each person and £5 a day to park your car, plus an extra charge for a cooked breakfast, the only positive thing about this hotel is that the staff are excellent especially the bar and restaurant staff

Absolutely repulsive hotel. We left within 30 minutes of check in. It’s dirty to the point of disgusting, outdated and you can hear next doors conversations and every step outside the room. It also felt very unsafe and I was concerned about leaving the car overnight.

They also charge for parking and to use the leisure facilities, even when you’re a guest.

Don’t be fooled by the low prices, this place is grim beyond belief. I would never come back here.

Stayed there for 2 nights as part of a coach tour. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Food was good. Everything you need in the room for a short stay. Only dissapointed there was no music or entertainment in the evenings but it is an airport hotel.
