The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had two rooms, a budget single which was very small I felt it was overpriced. However the bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful! The second room , a double was very nice, a good size and the bed was comfortable bed.Breakfast was adequate.|The hotel is ideally placed with nearby bars and restaurants and a very regular bus service.

Room ( for 3) nice size, fairly basic, but clean, pleasant and good value for money. Staff friendly. Parking easy. Breakfast option provided in restaurant next door, continental (no full English), but reasonable and convenient (though limited to 8.00-9.00.) One local pub tried was dear and noisy, but Weatherspoons (20 minute walk straight along main road) was excellent ( impressive building) and well worth a visit. |Would stay here again if returning.

On the face of it, an attractive building and we were greeted by a very polite and helpful manager. That's where the good stuff ended. Broken glass on the floor of our bedroom, a fire alarm that went off for no reason just as we had got into bed, an uncomfortable mattress, endless doors slamming throughout the night with guests frequently ringing the front door bell, shower gel that was in fact anti-bacterial soap and a shower that barely had the power to wash it off.

We were very warmly welcomed by Jasmine, who provided us with an iron and board when asked. The bed was very comfortable and the room perfectly clean. This area of Leeds is particularly pretty, and the bus into the city centre was easy to negotiate. We had a delicious breakfast at Loaf, as recommended by the hotel. Really good value for money.

The room was clean. The hotel is convenient for Headingley. There is a good sized car park. A kettle and tea and coffee are provided in the room and the bathroom had dispensers for soap and body wash. We were in Room 2 which was a bit noisy when other guests returned to the hotel late at night.

Me and two friends booked this place whilst we were moving from our 3rd year university house into our postgraduate house.

After reading some of the reviews I noticed some negative comments and didn’t expect much from the property, but was delighted to have a wondering experience at this hotel.

The rooms themselves were very clean, great bathroom and facilities. The hotel is located on otly road which means the traffic does make the location quite loud, but it is in a really accessible area to travel to city centre or to walk to headingly (the noise was also all traffic, so would never be the bustle of people you would get in city centre). If you’re used to city noise it shouldn’t be an issue. There’s also a free car park for customers to use.

But what stood out to me the most was how incredibly nice the staff were. The two lady’s who served us on check in and check out were so friendly and helpful as we prepared ourselves for moving into our new house. Most noticeably however, was how willing to help with a situation our friend had where he needed a room to stay in after a terrible incident will apartment cancellations (it was VERY stressful). Long story short, a room was found online by myself, but for convenience we went to the front desk to book in and we were provided with the cheapest room they had (as opposed to being charged extra/the most they could which many other hotels would have jumped at the opportunity).

Overall, we would definitely stay here again and I would recommend for short terms stays. And we would all like to thank the people who work here for helping make two very stressful days a little bit better ?

Absolutely lovely staff. Nice clean room for money. Quiet too. Food is amazing in the restaurant would definitely go back again. Was a pleasure to stay here.
