Received a warm welcome from the lady on reception which was lovely. Everything was explained to us about the facilities and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Our king room was immaculately clean and we had everything we needed. The housekeeper we met was also really friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The location is perfect for the city Center. ||We prefer to stay in independent places as we feel the service and overall experience is more homely and we definitely got this here. We will be back and won’t hesitate to recommend Bendene!

I had an excellent stay at The Bendene! The location is great, close to Exeter's shops and the University. My room was spacious and clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It had all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay.|Juliette at check-in was fantastic, professional, informative and friendly. I was made to feel so welcome from the moment I arrived.|Thank you to the Benedene team for a lovely experience, I look forward to visiting again 🙂

Stayed for two nights over New Year. Room was clean and warm, despite the temperature dropping outside. Bed very comfortable and en-suite clean.|Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a city centre break. it is very central and within easy walking distance.|only downside is there is no Hotel car park, but there are local council parks within two minutes walk.

Stayed whilst visiting son at university. Nice to support a local business. Good level of useful contact before visit. Nice warm welcome by Emily. Room was compact but clean, freshly decorated and all the essentials provided. Dog was able to stay as well and was given a warm welcome. Great location, very near the centre of town. Spot on for what we were after!

Lovely images on the website. ||Positives to our stay: comfy bed, clean bedlinen, great location, quiet location, good communication.||Negatives: Noise travels between floors and rooms as this is an old town house. Kept awake by other guests coming and going at late and early hours, 3am showers, etc. Carpet not at all clean and bath not fully cleaned (other people's hair, toe nail clippings and scum lines, bit grim). The advertised swimming pool does not exist.||Overall: okay but not as lovely as it looked and wouldn't want to repeat the visit.||I have messaged the owners regarding our stay, and they have apologised and explained why our stay was not as good as it could have been. Appreciated but still not wanting to go again. The trip was supposed to be a special two days away but choice of accommodation let down the visit.

This is the third time I have stayed at Bendene Townhouse. The room was lovely and clean. Very comfortable with lots of light and plenty of room and storage. Very central location but also very quiet. Staff are pleasant and helpful, you are always made to feel welcome. I will stay here again.

Fabulous! Clean rooms amazingly friendly and kind staff. It is really centrally located walking distance to Exeter University, 1/2 a block to food, about 2 to the train station, a couple more and you are in the center of town. It is also walking distance to the cathedral. Very quiet and cozy.

We were there to send my child off to university, this apartment is strategically located just 5 minutes from main walking street. Safe and easy to walk around, it is a very cozy and homely suite which made the trip so much more pleasant. All the staffs were so helpful and friendly. The room itself is good enough for 3 adults, well equipped with kitchen appliances for easy cooking, and the garden were also fantastic spot to have a drink. Highly recommended
