We absolutely loved our stay at The Garden Rooms. Vanessa was a wonderful host who welcomed us with wine, milk and fresh eggs. She took the kids to feed the chickens and collect the eggs, which they enjoyed. We travelled with another family and it was the perfect set up for 2 families of 4. The gardens are beautiful and the kids spent time playing and hiding.
We explored the local area including the Beamish museum. Buses were cheap and frequent and we enjoyed a meal out in the pretty local village of Corbridge. Thanks for a lovely stay 💗

Stayed here last May with bridesmaids the night before my wedding and they stayed the night of the wedding.

We had such a lovely stay at the Garden rooms, it was perfect, the sun was shining and the garden looked glorious which was ideal for our photos. We saw a hare running past the window one day too, really was idyllic and cosy being in the countryside.

My friends loved it and all said they want to come back. It catered for all your needs and was spotless.

Had a lovely wedding morning there, really will be a special memory for me.

Vanessa was so attentive she was so approachable and friendly letting me and my Mam view it a year in advance to check it was ok. She was very thoughtful for letting my friend go in a night earlier to fill it with surprises and balloons too! Thank you!

My daughter recently had her wedding at Healey Barn, we took the decision to book a cottage nearby for 3 nights and so pleased we did!
The cottage was absolutely beautiful, my daughter was overjoyed with its beautiful calm location, Vanessa popped in to say hello and what a very warm welcome we received.
The rooms were all beautiful the setting was amazing it’s just a shame we were so busy with wedding stuff!
I would love to go back and fully enjoy the cottage although we did make use of the yurt on one evening and that was lovely.
Very highly recommend and will return, it was a beautiful start to my daughters wedding day and we got some amazing pictures.

The perfect place for a family stay. The house is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, the large garden is peaceful and private, and the cosy BBQ yurt is fantastic! We also loved the little touches like games, garden games and local recommendations. An ideal place to explore the local area... the pretty towns of Corbridge and Hexham are super close, and good train/road connections to Newcastle, Whitley Bay (fab beach) and the rest of Northumberland. Vanessa was also extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. A highly recommended place for any time of year.

Beautiful accommodation with every comfort you could wish for. Vanessa the host is so friendly and personal. Fabulous surroundings for brilliant walks, close to Corbridge with its quaint indie shops, cafes and pubs.

The Partington family made us feel most welcome for our stay at the Garden Rooms. Very handy for Corbridge with great views of the surrounding Northumbrian countryside. The house itself is equipped to a high standard with all the equipment you would need along with some board games that the children enjoyed (not to mention the table tennis). The beautiful mature gardens provided plenty of room for the adults to relax in and for the kids to explore.
