Stayed here over many years - I just love this quiet, out of the way farmhouse. Brilliant for my dogs and perfect for myself. Curlews and larks, sheep, lambs and hens all to be seen and heard - wish I’d brought a swimsuit as situated right alongside the River Tyne. Isabelle and David perfect hosts.

Simple, rural accommodation (surrounded by sheep fields) but perfectly clean and with very good quality facilities needed for our overnight stay - drinks, snacks, warm shower, toiletries and plenty of soft towels. Very relaxing location and hospitable hosts with friendly dogs. Breakfast was lovely and we had a nice chat about farming life here. Would like to stay longer and walk around the farm or up to the local town (2 miles away down a quiet country road).

Isobel and David made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed sharing their home for a week. Great location for local sight seeing. Loved the quiet location of the farm, down a track away from the road. Lovely breakfasts and very clean! Always plenty of hot water too! Would definitely recommend.

B&B on a working farm with a warm welcome. The rooms are best described as traditional but they are clean, comfy and warm. We stayed as part of a trip to Kielder observatory which is just over 30 minutes drive away. Our stay was rounded off with a lovely English breakfast in the morning.

We had a great overnight stay in this beautiful traditional farmhouse. Our hosts were warm and friendly, going the extra mile to make us comfortable after a long day mountain biking on the Sandstone Way. We loved soaking in a hot bath and in the morning stoked up on a hearty breakfast the next morning, with the yellowist scrambled eggs from the free ranging hens.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was spotlessly clean, light and airy. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and the hosts are friendly and welcoming.

Stayed for three nights while attending the local BAAFEST music festival (also highly recommended). The breakfasts were delicious, the accommodation comfortable, and returning at almost midnight was not a problem (but very dark).||||The facilities in the bedroom were fine, the shower worked well and the bed had an electric blanket (not required during our stay).||||Hoping to do a repeat visit next year.

There is a lot of good things to say about the Bridgeford Farm B&B. The location is idyllic and so peaceful. We loved the sound of our farm animal neighbours each day; I enjoyed a really nice evening walk into the woods alongside the farm's field and the river is very accessible to guests. Being rather remote, visitors should plan ahead and know where they'll be eating for lunch and dinner each day. On that note, breakfast is locally sourced and superb. Isabelle made special effort for other guests staying at the same time who were up and out early for work (5am!!) The room we stayed in couldn't be cosier. We had a sweet view of the garden. All necessary amenities were thoughtfully provided, even a portable heater for those colder nights (although central heating was on anyway). I cannot say enough about our host. Isabelle was a dear; very relaxed, very accommodating, eager to share local knowledge and was genuinely interested in us as people. She was ever so kind to my fiancΓ©e and we cannot thank her enough for her approach to being the best kind of B&B host you could hope for. I would happily choose to stay here again and would recommend to any couples, solo travelers and small groups.
