My son has been attending lessons with The Reading Doctor (Kerry) since September, and he has made amazing progress with his reading. He looks forward to his lessons with Kerry, and comes home with a big smile on his face. The learning pack that Kerry provides is excellent quality and easy to follow at home, with the bonus being access to Reading Eggs so learning is interactive and keeps my sons interest. Overall I'm very impressed with Kerry's service, and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Excellent and professional teacher. I honestly cannot recommend enough. The reading doctor is a fabulous idea for little children learning to read. Not only is my little girl more confident at her reading level but she is also enjoying it. The lessons are friendly and well organised catering to the specific needs of each child. Kerry is very knowledgeable and keen to take on board parents notes and remarks. She is very attentive to her students too encouraging them every step of the way. She is also a very honest teacher and gives a preliminary assessment to find out details about the students reading abilities and then advises with great honesty on whether the student needs more help or not. She advises on the key areas to work on and develop. Really happy and proud that my daughter is her student.

My son ( 8 ) hated reading, learning & school before going to see Kerry, he has been going a few months now and Kerry is amazing with him & built his confidence and found the parts that he needs to work on the most. He really enjoys going to his 'after school reading lesson' with Kerry & even his school teachers have noticed a difference with him during school lessons too as he has started to enjoy learning new things, he has come on so much with his confidence when reading in front of people, including us at home and to his class at school too & all of that is thanks to Kerry and her patience and 1-1 time with him - Thank you.

Our reading doctor (Kerry) is beyond amazing. I have two dyslexic children that go to Kerry every week. The difference since they've been going is unreal.
I'm so thankful to find someone this good.
I'm dyslexic also, so would struggle and feel so much shame that I couldn't help them as much as I would like to be able to. So I'm so so so thankful for Kerry, they get the help support and confidence from her. I couldn't be happier. 10 out 10.

My son started lessons with Kerry barely able to read at 8 years old,2 months later he is coming on leaps and bounds. He feels so relaxed and comfortable around Kerry and has been given a new outlook on reading and is happy to practice with his home learning pack at any time whereas before it was a struggle to get him to try. Highly reccomend.

Such a professional and friendly service with constant support, patience and understanding. Great communication in between sessions too. My son has grown in confidence in just a few sessions and is so excited to go to them. I've seen a huge improvement in his reading, phonics and comprehension (and so have his school). Reasonably priced and totally worth it!!
