If I could I would put a minus 1 star. I'm a regular customer and found a hair in my food I spoke with staff just to politely let them know and was told the kitchen staff would be spoken to I was hesitant to order with them again however I placed a second order only to find a dead fly in my food to be told the manager is happy for me to request a refund. Absolutely disgusting.

Had to give a one star just to leave a review my rating is zero!! Ordered £70 worth of food 2x chicken balls but asked for one portion to come with curry sauce instead of sweet and sour delivery came with only curry sauce called the restaurant and was told I could wait an hour for the sweet and sour sauce to be delivered or on my next order I would get the sauce free!! Explained I live 3 minutes away I’ll come get the sweet and sour sauce, was then told to bring the curry sauce with me so they could exchange!! Which I did but why ask for the extra sauce to come back are you actually giving that to another customer? Which is alarming in its self anybody could of done anything to that sauce and you were quite happy to take it back not very hygienic or professional will not be using your restaurant/ takeout again

Be careful what you order as you may get other people’s not wanted items
If it leaves the restaurant it shouldn’t go back!!

The food is so delicious, great portions and reasonable prices. All the staff are very friendly, welcoming and create a nice atmosphere. Also, they are very accommodating for children.

We visited this restaurant in winter 2023 and inside was quite chilly. Our food cooled down quickly if we put it on a separate plate. It is better to keep it in the main plate in which it was served. We didn't finish yet to take meal how the staff removed out plates 🤣. We were surprised by such speed.

We’ve just spent almost £300 at the restaurant for a Christmas family gathering and feel very disappointed. When we discussed our views with staff, no apology was made, apart from that they were busy and short staffed. We waited far too long for our order to be taken. Warm plates were given to each of us, but by the time food arrived at the table, our plates were cold. We appreciate that food is made to order, but we didn’t feel like we ate together, with food arriving in 5 minute intervals. Food was very nice, but overall experience left us very disappointed.

Booked for my 30th birthday and paid for a private room which we did not get as another party had got there first. We were told “nothing we can do now”. We have not been able to get this money back.

The staff were so disorganised and rude throughout the night. We had everything planned so efficiently with a member of staff back in September but on the night, it seemed to be a surprise that we were there.

The only decent part was the food however we sat at 7pm, we had given our orders in two days before so everything could be ready. Rice was brought out at around 7.45 and mains didn’t follow until 20 minutes later. Several people didn’t receive their starters until 8.45.
They attempted to charge us for several drinks which we did not receive. It took some effort to get this taken off the bill.

This used to be our go to for a Chinese takeaway but we will not be going back. This should have been a nice, special night but it was so stressful and took away from what it should have been. Absolutely not worth it.

Why has it gone downhill so badly? The staff forgot to put the heating on before we arrived. It was freezing. Slow service. One meal missed out. Vegetable chow mein cold in parts. Wine glasses more suited to accommodate half a lager. The meals overall were average. Once upon a time the meals were to be highly recommended. Not the most pleasant experience and we sadly decided we would not go again.

We had an awful experience with this Chinese takeaway and will not return. We walked in to collect two orders and were told by the staff that both were ready as they handed us two bags , and crossed out both receipts in-front of us . Trusting their confirmation, we drove 20 minutes home, only to realise they’d only given us one order!

When we called them to sort it out, they tried to blame us for their mistake. Despite this being entirely their fault, they refused to deliver the missing food, forcing us to drive another 20 minutes back to pick it up. Once there, the staff were rude, lied about who had served us, and insisted we pay if we wanted fresh food instead of the order they’d left sitting out.

To make matters worse, the food we did receive was incredibly dry and far below their usual standards. Considering we’ve never had issues before, this decline in quality is disappointing and shows a lack of care for loyal customers.

We spent nearly £100 here, and the poor customer service, lack of accountability, and drop in food quality left a terrible impression. Next time, we’ll stick with Mr. Choi’s down the road – far cheaper, better service, and overall a much more pleasant experience. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place!
