We've just enjoyed another lovely stay at Ulwell. The site is great and well maintained as are caravans. The onsite Village Inn is a nice relaxing place to have a drink or get a home cooked meal. We've always had good food here (and a lovely breakfast) and all the staff are very friendly and attentive. Another bonus is the on site shop, very handy indeed. Swanage is only a 25 minute walk away or you can get the bus, with the bus stop just across the road. Can't wait for our next visit.

We often eat at the village inn but It would be good if the menu was abit different. |Soup and a roll would be great to have and not everything with chips. |Very basic menu.| All day breakfast would be a good idea too. |Toasted tea cakes more variety of sweets.

Very safe for kids lots of entertainment. Loads of parks and a beer garden with a very nice restaurant that has Wi-Fi and the local shop has pizzas on Fridays and Saturdays they are extremely popular and are reasonably priced. The shop is also great with it being open at 7am and shutting at 6. ||I would recommend to all families

Came here in our caravan on a recommendation from a friend and the site didn’t disappoint. Only marked down slightly on the location because the pitches in our section weren’t very level and required additional blocks under the steadies. I get it’s on a hill, but it’s still possible to level areas for vans to sit and even those with full service pitches on gravel required blocks. The washrooms were in good clean condition and although the site was full, there was never a need to wait for shower cubicles etc. There is a well stocked shop onsite as well as a pub which is open all day for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is possible to walk into Swanage from the site, either down the main road, or via the local lane, but beware the lane is single track and is still used by a reasonable number of cars too.

My review is base on the service we paid. This a pitch for 6.4 meter camper van on the grass, which most of it is mud. We chose the place for its pool, so we have something to do while raining. As it turns out, our pitch is too far from the pool, and it is rainy to walk to it. The pool is well managed for its size. You have to book so they can allocate and control the number who wants to use it, which I think is a good service. In rainy weather, you will not enjoy on their grass pitches. They have hard pitches but short and expensive.

Firstly they have just opened a terrific bear garden. It has BBQ food at the weekends plus an outside bar and a big screen tv for at the moment the footie! |Excellent seating and weather proof pods in a wild garden settings these all lead to a new children’s play area and then onto the main park/ play area. All safe from vehicles.|Secondly for disabled campers or caravan’s. In the toilet and shower block is a superb heated disabled wet room and toilet with shower seat and hairdryer with room for a wheelchair. |Clean and very functional so very welcoming for the adventurous disabled to use.|Well done Ulwell.

Currently staying there. Excellent site for the motorhome, but also loads of static accomodation to hire.
Excellent site that is very well maintained, looks like a lot of money has been recently spent on the bar area. Food available in the evenings.

Made space in a busy restaurant and a tasty meal followed. But the thing we have noticed here is the staff are excellent and go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. Young people who show that they care and are most polite. Thank you.
