We had a wonderful lunch at this cosy and friendly pub. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. What made our experience truly special was the fantastic service from our waitress, Rachael. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warm personality and excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this lovely pub!

As part of my wife's birthday week (and to check out the venue for a future event) we came to the Countryman inn.
The images seen did not do justice as the place is much nicer. Greated on arrival and shown to our table in a very friendly manner.
The menu had a very good choice and the food arrived in an decent time. Quality of food was excellent and cooked as requested. The price, well, just under £70 for 2 people (main, desert and two drinks each) that to me is very reasonable. Going to return to try the Sunday Carvery.

We booked a table for 9 for a special birthday. It was very busy so definitely book ahead but even with a full restaurant we had wonderful service, all of the team were smiling and clearly happy to work there. The wait for food was not too long and it was hot and served quickly, great menu with something for everyone. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful evening…food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all 5 star. Well done to all of the team at the Countryman, we will be back again soon. Great to have such a wonderful country pub close by.

Probably one of the best carverys I've had. Large portion size, quality food in a lovely country pub with a good atmosphere. Pool table and play park for the kids available. Was very busy so would recommend booking ahead. They have gluten free options available.

Today we have had a lovely family celebration lunch at the Countryman, it was truly excellent. The quality of the local produce used and the care taken in cooking and serving it is a very refreshing change these days. The prices are extremely reasonable and really hope this great team continue to succeed and survive these very tough times, in what from personal experience we know to be a very tough business. Stopped for Sunday lunch...great choice and reasonable prices. Fitted us in for lunch at short notice and had choice from standard menu or the carvery. Food was very good...I had the 1/2 roast chicken although my friend selected from the buffet... picture attached. Maybe a little too much on the plate for her!! Although it was self inflicted....and all very delicious. Good ale on tap and dog friendly. Would recommend.
