We stayed during a visit to Longleat & Lacock. James made us feel very welcome. Our room was lovely and a bed was made up for our daughter. The shared bathroom wasn't a problem. Breakfast was perfect and again we were made to feel very welcome. If we visit the area again we would book the cottage again.

We stayed overnight in this pretty and comfortable cottage. Although there are no en suite bathrooms this was not a problem as three rooms share two bathrooms. Dilly and James were very welcoming and the short walk to Lacock is lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the freshly "cooked to order" breakfast perfect. ||||Thank you both.

Having been married for 26 years and got the T shirt for 25 with two grown up sons one named Harry we were very much into Harry Potter. We went to the Studios in Watford and then read much of it was filmed only 30 miles from where we lived in Lacock.||So we decide to take time out and explore the Quirky village and spend a night at Damson Cottage at Lacock. ||The B and B was clean Welcoming, warm --too warm it was a heatwave for Autumn, The food the Breakfast was first class as good as any 5* hotel and the hosts Dilly and her husband most welcoming, We will stop again when the Wizards allow.

I've never booked a B&B before by myself, I've always been recommended or someone else has done it for me. I came across Damson Cottage and thought I'd give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. We had a welcome with big smiles, lovely food, very comfy beds.||||The only thing I can mark down on is the fact the doors aren't lockable from the outside, however, there is a sense of security around so that isn't too much of a problem for me. Even the fact that it was a shared bathroom didn't bother me at all.||||Dilly was very friendly and polite and even the two little dogs were happy enough to say hello.||||I would certainly recommend this b&b and will certainly use again if I'm in the area.

James was very welcoming and very hospitable. It felt like home from home. Delicious breakfast and very comfortable stay. So enjoyed it will be coming again soon. Spacious picturesque garden with lovely views across the hamlet. Peaceful such a blessing to have stayed here.

Great walking area, old village, walk through fields past Lacock Abbey into village, the sheep wont bother you. Very scenic
