My boyfriend and I have just stayed with Paul and Stephanie at Cleeves Wood and it could not have been more perfect for his birthday. They are the most welcoming and kind hosts I’ve ever stayed with and they could not have been more helpful offering information on Bath. There home is set in a beautiful location approx 20mins drive / taxi into Bath centre. ||The room we stayed in was immaculate clean and the bed is super comfy! Our window looked onto the stunning landscape of Bath which was lovely to wake up to.||Breakfast both mornings was 5 star service and very tasty! ||I will definitely be recommending Cleeves Wood to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Everything about this B&B is fabulous. I picked it for it's location and views and the view from the rooms as well as the outdoor patio seating exceeded expectations. Kim proved to be the best hostess of any B&B I've stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot), providing written and printed instructions as well as the usual leaflets. This meant we could easily find restaurants and make the most of our stay ( I would never have known about Caen Hill Locks, easily paused at en route to Stonehenge). The breakfasts are great with extras such as pancakes (if you have room). Although in a quiet location everywhere is easily accessible, including a bus to Bath. The rooms and communal facilities (for just 3 rooms) including a large lounge are of a very high standard. There is also a very beautiful indoor pool which we were lucky enough to be able to use. Overall an amazing stay and I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough.

My husband and I visited for the weekend in early August 2014 for a friend's wedding in Bath. ||||We were greeted by Kim and were immediately struck by how friendly and welcoming she was. She showed us around and took time to explain about the swimming pool and accommodation, as well as details for our evening excursion into Bath itself.||||Breakfast the following morning was amazing - an extensive array of cereals, toast, porridge, homemade pancakes and cooked breakfast items were on offer, and we finished our meal feeling very satisfied!||||Kim again spent quite a bit of time talking to us, as well as another family who were staying, and even though she probably had plenty of work to get on with, she never made us feel like we were in the way.||||All in all. An amazing stay. Would definitely recommend this B&B!!

First of all : sorry for the boring review below since it differs close to nothing from the rest of the reviews. So, our trip was excellent thanks to the good care we received from Kim and her husband. She was a very enjoyable hostess with a good sense of humour, a lot of guidance for our daily activities and last but not least the orchestrator of a smashing, tasty breakfast and a warm, comfortable and quiet room. The location was good : Wiltshire and Somerset offer a lot of things to see and do for a broad audience. Our 4 days spent at the farm and in the area were well filled but relaxing ... and also gone in a flash. Thank you Kim !

This is a simply a superb B&B with a friendly welcome from Kim. You can expect quality rooms and breakfast and beutiful views across the Wilshire countryside. You can also find plentiful on-site parking, a spacious and comfortable lounge and outside areas to unwind and relax. There are a number of local places to eat (one a short walk up the hill) and Bath is only a short dirve (or nearby bus) away.

Stayed here for 2 days to see Bath and friends. ||About a third of a mile down a small single track road was Cleeves Wood. Set in 5 acres of land. Parking for a few cars.||Was greeted by the host. Shoes off at the door.||Views to die for. Even saw a wild deer in the back garden. Binoculars in the room to look at the wildlife. The room was huge and immaculate. Bed was nice and firm.||Owners made you feel welcome. Made it feel very special. Breakfast was nice, i had the usual full monty and the wife had fruit, toast pretty much what she wanted.||Cant recommend highly enough. Will certainly be back if ever down that way.

Many 5 star hotels I have stayed in could learn from the care and personal attention you receive when staying here. Nothing is too much trouble for Kim who works tirelessly ensuring your stay is relaxed and maintains a fantastic standard as well as Mark who takes time to chat and show guests around even though he works all hours on the farm. The breakfasts are superb and of superb quality. Will be back!

I didn't read any reviews before booking but can see why nearly all are 5/5 as this place is perfect. The views are lovely (even though it rained most of the weekend!), rooms very comfortable and the owners think of everything. It was lovely to share a breakfast table with the other guests. Great value too -we will be back 🙂
