The hotel is perfect located in a quiet and safe are, easily reached by public transport. It's close enough to all the sights whole still affording me the sence of calm after a day of exploring London.||The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff was my favorite features, and not request was too small for this wonderfully service minded staff.||My only let down was that sound travels so easily in the stairway and I am a light sleeper so I did wake up a few times during my first night. This is of course not a fault of the hotel or staff. ||As solo traveler, I appreciate any and all efforts made to feel safe at an affordable price and this really is the case with Georgian House Hotel. ||I'd love to stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay in one of the Harry Potter-themed rooms at the Georgian. The meticulous attention to small details made the room and the stay wonderful. The staff was charming and very helpful in providing recommendations. The hotel itself was quirky and fun and very conveniently located for walking and public transport. Easy walking distance to Buckingham Palace and other great locations.

Georgian House has a beautiful lobby and The White Company toiletries are a nice touch but the overall stay left something to be desired. While one staff member during check-in was genuinely welcoming, the rest of the reception team felt very indifferent. The room was small, with very poor soundproofing that made it hard to relax — I could hear everything from footsteps to snoring in the next room. Additionally, the climb up three steep floors might not suit everyone, and the water pressure left much to be desired.||If you’re seeking a cozy, quiet retreat, you may want to weigh these factors before booking.

The location is perfect for getting to the London landmarks and the area is relatively peaceful. The room was small, but comfortable for a few nights. The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice of both continental buffet and hot options. Our only disappointment with this hotel was the wizard afternoon tea (booked as an extra). We found this not to be good value for money with a half hearted attempt at the wizarding theme, lack of atmosphere and average food.

This hotel is in an excellent quiet location only a 10 minute walk from Victoria underground and you can easily walk to other places if you rather stretch your legs. They kindly looked after our bags as we were in London earlier than the check in time which was appreciated and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. When we did check in we were given a ground floor room which felt like a box room with no character at all with no room to move in. It was also right next to the main hallway of the hotel entrance and led to their breakfast area. We did request to move rooms and they did some rearranging and granted our wish. We were then on the 4th floor which is a lot of stairs which didn't bother us. This room was a lot nicer than the other room but still didn't have the wow factor of the photos of the other rooms you see on the website. As the room had sloping ceilings this made it slightly harder to get in and out of bed and to generally move round the room. Also the door to the bathroom consists of 2 swinging doors which have a gap when closed. Not the best if you want privacy when using the facilities! The shower was extremely hit and miss - over our 2 night stay we only managed to get warmish water one morning and with having to have cold showers the first night when we wanted to freshen up after akng day out. Overall I did feel slightly let down as these things combined didn't lead to the luxury stay we were hoping for when looking at the hotels website.

A 5 star review from me but to be honest I don’t know how they could improve things. We had one of the cheaper small rooms on the top floor, but perfectly adequate for a night’s stay. Quiet which was a priority for me. It’s an 81 stair climb up to the very top so be prepared! Location was great for us, staff were lovely, you can leave your bags pre and post stay, and breakfast (albeit down a very steep staircase) was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

No lift and can be on the 4th floor so be aware, but its location to Victoria and central London makes it spectacular.
Special shout out to Wesley. Our door lock wasn’t working and we were tired and needed to rest before a big outing and he climbed up and down 4 times until the problem was resolved. Thank you.

We were here in 1999 and came back because we had a memorial experience.
They have kept the same great customer service for 25 years. Impressive.

Wonderful hotel, convenient for Victoria and all London offers. Beautiful decor, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. All the staff were friendly and kind. The price was great for location and quality and then there was the breakfast....great choice, beautifully made and efficiently served!
