Jane & Graham are wonderful hosts, very friendly and made the experience all the better. My bedroom was very comfortable overlooking their lovely garden. I particularly like the attention to the smallest details within the room such as iced water, an array of towels, great shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and the bed was super comfortable. I can only describe the shower, shower room as 5 star hotel quality. Breakfast was delicious. Good off road parking too. Thank you for a wonderful experience.. I'm looking forward to returning.

This was me and my sons 2nd stay at Briar-Glen.| Jane and Graham make you feel very welcome and nothing is a problem. |Their Bed & breakfast has it all from the Beds are very comfortable to the bathrooms having a really nice finish and the garden looks very relaxing. We would highly recommend staying there. Thankyou again .Hopefully see you again soon .

Over the years I've stayed in hotels,motels b & b's etc,of varying standards,but I can honestly say I have never had as good an experience anywhere as I had here at Briar Glen. My sister and I were at the top of the house in a newly refurbished room,lovely,bright and modern,but you can have all the monsoon showers and comfy beds you like but if your hosts are not hospitable, then none of that means anything. Jane and Graham are exceptional hosts,friendly,chatty, funny,nothing too much trouble, always going the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be,I practically had to be dragged out this morning,I would have liked them to adopt me,but as I'm older than both of them it probably wasn't practical! Ah Well,I'll just have to keep coming back. |The freshly cooked breakfast was a brilliant start to the day,the carafe of iced water when we returned in the evenings,was a wonderful touch in the heatwave weather we had been having,and dropping off to sleep to the sound of the little waterfall in the koi pond was magical. I can thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone jaded with the corporate "Inns", it's a place where you're treated as a person not just a statistic. I for one will be giving those places a miss from now on and will be returning here every time I'm in the area.

The hosts were first class, very nice people. The breakfast was delicious, just like at home. The room was very clean, the beds where comfortable, all amenities were modern and room was freshly decorated. A very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it.

We were a visit of two teachers and four students for a weeks visit. The hosts were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. The hosts even cooked roast dinner for us (even though they don't normally provide dinners) - the students especially appreciated trying authentic English food. The rooms were comfortable, clean. All was great.

I stayed here for 4 weeks and had the perfect time, the bed are extremely comfortable, the rooms are extremely clean and the breakfast is very tasty. Lovely cosy clean room and comfortable bed, generous tea and coffee facilities. Nice powerful shower. Great cooked breakfast with eggs from their own chickens! Very welcoming hosts - Jane and Graham.
