You could not have a better host, setting, comfort, excellent breakfast and Amanda went out of her way to provide us with a delicious supper every evening after our late performances in Houghton Hall which is only 6 minutes away by car. |Amanda made us feel so welcome. |The rooms had all the comforts of a 5 star hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Meadow House! Our room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. We loved the views over the meadow in front and could hear a tawny owl hooting in the night!
Amanda was a very warm and attentive hostess with great local knowledge. She kindly booked us a table for dinner at the local pub, where the food was excellent.
Breakfast was delicious. We were very well rested and ready to embark upon our final leg of the Peddar’s Way after a night at Meadow House.
Highly recommended!

This is a lovely B and B. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable and fresh milk is provided in the in room fridge, and two of the rooms have walk in showers.|The big selling point is the charming hostess. Amanda makes all her guests so welcome and you all feel special. The breakfasts which she serves are a great way to start your day. As well as the Full English there is fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals toast and a big selection of jams and marmalade. |She will also advise of places to visit and restaurants to dine in.|Strongly recommended

We spent a lovely few days at Meadow House. Everything was excellent; the hospitality, location and accommodation. Amanda was the perfect host with fantastic attention to detail. In short, highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night whilst walking Peddar's Way and the Norfolk Coast Path. |Amanda welcomed us and showed us our twin room which had great views across open countryside. The room itself was a somewhat on the small side and we had little room for our cases and backpacks. |Amanda had offered to provide us with an evening meal when I booked as the local pub did not open for food on a Sunday evening. The food was tasty and very simply but at £15 per head, it verges on the expensive. |Breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed eating it with the lovely view as a backdrop. |I had enquired of Amanda about local taxis to take us to the start of the trail the next day and she had offered to take us which we thought was very kind. However, when presented with the bill, an additional £5 had been added for a 2 mile journey when she was going out anyway. If we had known this, we would have walked back across the fields! One of our other B&B hosts had offered the same but did not expect us to pay. When offering accommodation near to popular walking trail when mileages to B&B's can mount up, this is a small service that should and usually is included.

Amanda made us very welcome; she was an extremely attentive host who made our few days away a very relaxing time. Breakfasts were very good, plenty of choice and very well cooked. This is a lovely place to stay and we would highly recommend it for a most comfortable break.

Lovely B&B. We stayed here for two very relaxing and comfortable days. Gorgeous drawing room to sit and a beautiful conservatory where Amanda serves a delicious breakfast. Rooms are spacious , very comfortable bed, very clean and amazing views. Would definitely stay with Amanda again if in the area.
