The owners of the Guest House are both lovely and personable, and had excellent communication before (when we requested and I formed about our vegan stance and diet) and they accommodated this.

The rooms were comfortable and very warm, and having shower gel and tea/coffee facilities and TV were nice extra touches. The showers provided very hot water and everywhere was clean.

The breakfasts were excellent and they even accomodated us having vegan full English breakfasts and the homemade bread is as delicious as everyone else has raved about 😊.

If we stay in Portsmouth again we would definitely stay here again.

I had a chance to stay in their guest house earlier this week. The couples were friendly, flexible and acccommodating. The room was clean at a highest level, it will leave such clean aroma on you as you leave. The prices were even everybody's reach. The amenities that they provided were exceptional. The cooked breakfast are incredible. Definitely worth a comeback and recommendations to friends near or far.

After a long day around Southsea and Portsmouth we searched out our accommodation. A nice looking Victorian style house just a short trip from the sea greeted us when we arrived.||The convivial host welcomed us in and showed us to our perfectly sized room. The en-suite shower and bathroom was clean and well supplied with towels and toiletries.|| After a shower and a wind-down watching TV from the double bed we settled down for the night.|| The morning found us going down to a well set out dining room where we were once again catered for by our host, ensuring everything was great. Then came a perfectly cooked breakfast which we had picked from a comprehensive menu. That set us up perfectly for our second day.||||A great place to sta with friendly hosts and a breakfast fit for a king. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for 2 nights for the National Piers Society weekend and had a lovely stay. Located within a few minutes walk of several bus stops I found it easy to get to from The Hard and good for getting about, a 10 minute walk to the pier and seafront. Steve and his wife were really helpful about letting me arrive a bit early with my heavy bag and were really friendly & welcoming. They also do a good veggie cooked breakfast. Room was clean and the bed so comfy I almost missed breakfast one day! Top marks!

Hadn’t stopped in a seaside B&B for many Years, this was a pleasant reminder of what great value these British institutions can be! Run by a couple, this ideally located property (a 5min stroll to the seafront, or to the high street) was great value and proved ideal for a quick & clean one night stay. Room was showing its age but was clean and adequate with an en-suite, clean bed linen and towels. Beds were comfortable if a little short for the taller folk! ||Host (Steve) was a genuinely welcoming and engaging character, who is a mine of information on the area.||The Breakfast is recommended, cereals, juice and a quality full English with tea or coffee, plus endless toast (his home made bread!)||I don’t know who they survive on the room rate charged, but I’d have paid more and still been happy!||It’s on street parking has a strange time limit thanks to the Council, so get your scratch guard (FOC) when you check in.||Only minor grumbles were the shower was a dribbler, the TV in the room was on its last legs and the curtains needed black out linings as it’s V bright too early!||Still 5 stars though as it was just perfect for what I needed, and the price is just. Bonus.||Well done Steve and Claire, will visit again!

Great service, and excellent food. Had a small problem finding parking nearby as it's very busy and has no reserved parking. The room was clean and ideal for our needs, with an en-suite shower and toilet. Very accommodating host.

My Mum & I stayed at this lovely B&B as we went to see Paul Weller in Portsmouth. We were met with a very warm welcome, given good information about local taxis and were able to use the parking permit until the next morning. ||We stayed in a comfortable twin room with, even though the hotel was a bit dated that didn't matter as the next morning we had a fantastic breakfast with delicious bread. ||Really good value with lovely hosts, we would definitely return and recommend to others.
