Could do with a bit of a make over. People are here living permanently but the site is right next to the river making it idyllic. If you want to visit Norwich or the Norfolk Show ground it is well situated. Β£22.50 per night with electric hook up, hard standing. If you have your own facilities even better as the toilet block needs a spruce up. Chemical waste disposal point, fresh water and grey water but no drive over for motorhomes.
Very friendly people open all year.

Great site , great price,
We stayed From Monday to Saturday and enjoyed every minute of it. Loverly pitch not far from the river to watch n feed the fish. Amenities nice and clean. Everything we needed was there. Geoff was friendly guy who had no problem with us staying an extra night.
Mike was doing a good job keeping the site clean, tidy and grass trimmed. Nothing was too much bother.
Definitely would return.

People live there, not just holiday makers and some of them are up all hours of the night being general tramps.
The showers are grim, 1st day were freezing cold and no electric on site, the rest of the holiday they were hot, cold, hot, cold constantly and the smell in the bathrooms is as if they haven't been cleaned for months.
Women's toilets all overflowing with poo on the second day.
Oh and good luck finding anyone when you arrive

Very dated and not a swan or harbour in sight, loads of motorhomes and caravans that have been there for years and people living in there going to work early in morning coming home late. Toilet block very dated and used by those living there. Don't look like they have been cleaned for a while.

very rude staff on the phone with the most unfriendly attitude. perhaps 2 nights with one small tent doesn't generate enough income for them to be polite. Thank goodness they refused to book us in, it meant we could go to MERRYHILL Country park instead, where the customer service is second to none.

We booked this site on the strength of the last review. Honestly, they must have been on a different site
The site does look nice on the website video but I can't say how disappointed we were. The site wasn't kept nice at all. At first, we thought it was a traveller site due to the number of transit type vans. It was only when we seen the "motorway maintenance" vehicle and blokes in high visibility clothing that we realised that they were the motorway lads.

I feel that I really must mention the stench that lingers over site.. OMG it's terrible! I'm not sure if it was a blocked drain or the site is right next to a farm
When I asked the owner what it was. He said he couldn't smell it, and then asked ME where it was coming from. So I pointed out that it seems to be coming from a certain part of the site. He answered " don't go down there"

Needless to say, we didn't stay very long. Probably about an hour!

Go up
