I visited Riva 6 for an aromatherapy massage (neck, shoulders and back) and really liked the techniques used. Katie was professional and very thorough. The salon is asthetically attractive and the treatment room reminded me of a boutique hotel. Soothing music and towels provided for one's dignity and comfort. The only disappointment was the loud chatter and giggling coming from the reception area whilst someone was having a manicure (not very relaxing), but i'm sure this can be resolved.

Very dissatisfied with the service. I had a voucher for £80 bought for my birthday which unfortunately expired after 6 months without me realising. When I asked if I could still redeem it at least partly (since it’s only a service and not actual goods) I was told NO - it’s hard to understand what would actually cost the ladies in the salon to still provide me with any service whatsoever after being paid the £80! It’s sad that the money spent by my friends for my gift has gone to waste because the manager couldn’t even propose any consolation! It would literally cost them nothing!

This place!❤️. I always leave here feeling fabulous, Katie’s skill and professionalism is amazing, she’s sorted out my non-existent eyebrows and my eyelashes look amazing. Her back massage is the best. I spend my working life hunched over a laptop for hours, Katie somehow manages to sort me out and rediscover my neck.....I would have a massage a week if I could.
I’ve also tried the shellac treatment with Saskia and for the first time in ages I have great-looking, long nails.
Both ladies here are so professional, always give great advice, and are such fun to chat with. If you haven’t tried this place then give it a go, you won’t be disappointed 😊

I think when one thinks of going to a salon, shall only be considering hospitality, hygiene and treatwell skills, And so i assure you Riva is this kind of a place. Both Katie and Saskia are so kind and generous and are quite keen on their work. Even tho they are the only 2 who works and manages the salon yet it is quite managed, the treat service, hygiene and timings! Saskia is the one responsible for the eyebrow threading, she was always keen on fixing my eyebrow shape perfectly! The owner ( Katie ) is very quite skilled in pedicure and generous when always me being late for the appointment 😅

Absolutely heavenly for a ladies 60th birthday treat. Four of us well looked after by Saskia and Katie. We each had treatments and they provided a lovely afternoon tea with bubbles at a very reasonable cost. Definitely recommend the salon for cleanliness and professionalism. Friendly too !

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is. I've had a few full body massages with Saskia and all have been excellent. The place is very clean, cosy with wonderful luxurious decor and detailing, the staff friendly calm and professional, booking very easy with on line and app booking available. They normally have availability after 5pm which with a full time job is invaluable. Best place in Portsmouth for a massage hands down! Don't hesitate to try it.

Had my first ever Hollywood wax with Katie, she was professional and so calming which made me feel relaxed. Gave amazing results, would definitely recommend to anyone getting waxing done for the first time!😁
