Unclean, smelly and gross!
We attempted a stay here in December 2023. Immediately the place stank of cigarettes and cheap air freshener, we had to open the windows which made it cold. There were holes in the walls, filthy stains on the bedding and mould all over the bathroom. A bit of metal hanging from the sideboard in the kitchen tore my son’s clothes. The owner was uncontactable by telephone and unresponsive to text messages. We left the next morning after sleeping poorly in our clothes.
I advise anybody to heed the bad reviews and save yourself the trouble. We’ve been chasing a refund up until this point because the owner considers all of the above to be perfectly acceptable.
The only thing going for it is the parking space close to the Anglia square part of Norwich. If you choose to stay here I’d recommend sleeping in the car!

Appalling customer service. Room booked many weeks ago. On the morning of the trip we were informed by the owner that we couldn’t stay because ‘he had private guests who won’t leave.’ The message was delivered dismissively without any acknowledgement of how difficult it would be to get accommodation at the last minute during half term (which we couldn’t). We were offered alternative accommodation 30 miles outside the city. Unacceptable.
