This spa is so wonderful. Truly a thoroughly curated experience of relaxation. I love that everything is outside and set in the most picturesque countryside (there are even highland cows on site yay! I used the wood-fired hot tubs, the pool and the sauna. I am a big fan of the sauna as it is its own building with one wall being a window overlooking the countryside. The changing rooms and reception area were lovely clean and warm. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower were kind to my hair and smelled wonderful. Don't worry about being cold moving from hot tub to pool to sauna to the treatment room as a cozy warm swimmers coat and flip flops and towels are provided. Such a wonderful day out.

I would highly recommend the Signet Spa at the Barnsdale. I took my Mum along for an afternoon package which included a treatment, use of the facilities and lunch or afternoon tea. We were very warmly welcomed by Eleanor and the team and the facilities were absolutely stunning. The heated pool was surprisingly pleasant for a January visit and we were even able to watch a Red Kite swooping above us due to the fabulous location right near Rutland Water. The sauna was also a lovely temperature and we managed to get it to ourselves which was perfect.

Our treatments were fabulous and Afternoon Tea treats were very tasty and served quickly in a lovely setting. We weren’t left waiting. Facilities were great, lockers, showers, robes and flip flops all provided. I would 100% recommend a visit if you’d like a relaxing, country side setting to unwind.

I went to this spa yesterday and it is stunning! The whole set up is lovely, the staff were so kind and attentive. You get a dry robe to use which was so toast and warm. The hot tubs looking over the highland cows were my favourite part but the sauna was a close second as watching the sunset in the sauna was wonderful. We also had a package that included lunch which was reasonably priced if we’d have paid but was SO tasty. The dessert was fantastic and the whole experience was incredible. I will be going back here for sure!

Lovely couple of days at Signet Spa.
Excellent facial and full body massage and enjoyed a lucky day of sunshine at the outdoor spa.
Only minor issue was the hot tub temperature that felt lukewarm, but sauna was toasty and very glad of the dryrobes:)

Spa day with treatment and lunch- spa facilities were fantastic, I was very well looked after by the manager who was friendly and attentive. The massage I had was quite light pressure and no option to request firmer, but that's the only negative. The food was good, and the staff all attentive and professional. Highly recommend, will go again.

Had a wonderful massage at this beautiful outdoor spa! The setting is so peaceful, with a charming relaxation area, great changing rooms and even cute cows in the field next door to add to the countryside vibe! Can’t wait to return for a full spa day to enjoy all the fantastic facilities. Highly recommend!

A lovely relaxing day with my friend however I feel the outside facilities could be improved. The pool had inflatables in which made it feel like a leisure pool and didn’t feel warm enough on a freezing day. Lacks ambience and would be nice to have loungers looking over the fields. Not enough places to fully relax after treatment on Sunday day if weather is bad. Afternoon tea was in a lovely room although the cakes were hard. Treatment and staff were very friendly. Would revisit if improved.

I booked a 1hr pregnancy massage during my third trimester (wk36), and since I hadn’t had one whilst pregnant, I was a little apprehensive. However, the team immediately put me at ease—they were incredibly accommodating, and the masseuse was friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. She took the time to explain the process, including where she could and couldn’t apply pressure, which made me feel completely comfortable.

The massage itself was incredibly relaxing, exactly what I needed. As a bonus, I was able to use the heated outdoor pool afterward, which was a lovely way to round off the experience. I would highly recommend this to any expectant mother looking for a bit of pampering and relaxation!
