Happy with the service I receive whenever I get my nails done. Super helpful with picking the right colour to match the designs and very efficient. They take time to do your nails unlike some places that tend to rush it.
I also once came with a quick fix which was happily done free of charge, even though I had to wait a little.

My daughter has been getting her nails done on and off for a while, so I decided to pop along with her and see what the fuss was about. I had acrylic nails put on and loved them at first. They looked lovely, but for me I felt they weren't very practical.
After Christmas we went back for new nails. I had my acrylic nails removed and my own nails painted. Love them !!!! And I can now pick up fiddly things 🤣 x
You can book online, which I recommend as if you hit the shop at the wrong time, there can be a wait, as people with appointments will go ahead of you. Prices have gone up slightly, but it's a treat, so its worth it 💞 x

Would not recommend this nail salon, I only go here when my usual Nail Salon is fully booked as a back-up option. Even if you have a booking you will wait at least half an hour (waited 40 minutes to be seated last time even though I’d booked.)

They are constantly rushing, so the gel polish ends up uneven with gel on parts on the skin. Absolutely not worth the £38 price point.

The staff are unfriendly.They won’t talk to you other than about your nails and even then when you try to ask them to fix a mistake, they are reluctant and make you feel like you’re putting them out. There’s absolutely no atmosphere in the salon, no music they just seem to be more interested in talking to each other… very unprofessional.

Prices seam to change constantly even though I always get the exact same BIAB and white tip every time without fail. They seams to make it up as they go along, depending on who it is. There’s no pricing list either (convenient…)

They won’t accept card, only cash which is mental in 2025. They sometimes accept bank transfers, but will depend on who’s in to check the account.

Generally not a good experience, it’s a shame as I’ve when I first moved to this area the salon was pricy but worth it. Staff were friendly and the owner was regularly in. Now there’s a different face every week and low quality nail technicians.

Can’t say I will be using this salon outside of emergencies..

£23 gel nails with one colour, super fast service, no need for appointment. I'm happy with the nails, only issue was that she didn't tidy my cuticles. A bit rushed.

Not very impressed with this overall. The person who did my nails spent quite a lot of time looking up and at other things, not paying full attention and as a result a couple of my nails were a bit rough and catching on things after. Also I noticed that the varnish hasn't gone right up to my cuticule so it already looks like it's growing out. It's not very expensive though so there is that.

Also just seen that I should have had my cuticles tidied up for the price I paid but that also didn't get done.

I have been trying various nail salons after my usual place increased prices. I came to Creative Nails for the first time 2 weeks ago, and have mixed feelings. Firstly, their prices are very reasonable.
But, the negatives: I had a girl remove my existing gels, and experienced quite a lot of burning when she was using the e-file, which I have never experienced before at the many salons I have visited. There was also quite a lot of old nail dust and debris left around the station and nothing was cleaned between the previous customer leaving and me sitting down (though I appreciate it was a busy saturday afternoon and I did see them cleaning the pedicure stations).
The man who did my new set of gels was great - he was very attentive to how I wanted them shaped, and they came out looking lovely (picture attached). He was better with the e-file and there was no burning when he finished prepping my nails. But my fingers were a bit sore for the next 24 hours from the e-file earlier on. That said, they did start to chip around 9 days in, and I usually get at least 14-16 days from gels before any chipping. I wonder if this is due to my nail being filed too much during removal, as a different salon I visited today commented on my natural nails looking as though they had been weakened by previous manicures.
I wonder if this salon is more suited to acrylics as I saw lots of people getting these and it is clearly popular with a constant stream of walk-ins arriving.

I rated this one of the best nails bars in Cambridge but came in to have 2 nails repaired and just gelled! He started doing infills on a week old nails!! Then they charged me full price even though the manager said the wouldn’t after me stating I didn’t ask for infills! This is the second time I have been overcharged here! I will not be going back ever. You’ve lost a loyal customer and need to focus on discussing what the client has asked for when you switch over 🙄…. Following your response below so I saved £1 on a service I DID NOT WANT NOR ASK FOR… that’s ridiculous! And your prices are extortionate. There’s much cheaper and better nail bars in Cambridge. It’s extremely disappointing and there wasn’t even an apologie when I was there!

Went there today, in the morning. For the first time.
When I popped in, they ask me a question what do you want to do? and told to me sit down to wait. they didn’t ask if I have an appointment or not, until another lady came in they didn’t ask her if she has an appointment or not, without apologies they just told me to get up from the chair so they can serve another lady and I have to wait for another few minutes. Feel disappointed as when I went to my other nail salon in Hills Road always tread customers way better and friendly. Definitely not coming back 😒
