Jess at the spa in David lloyd Cambridge is such a lovely and great asset to the club. I travelled all the way from London and her customer service was excellent. The receptionist forgive me I didn't catch her name was also such a breath of fresh air. Julia, the assistant GM, was super kind and welcoming. I loved her radiant great personality and her approach to me and my friend made our experience even better. This trio were really amazing 👏 thank you once again.

We played a county tennis match against Cambridgeshire here on a Wednesday afternoon and this David Lloyd club was so busy. Difficult finding a parking space. What must it be like at 6pm? Carpet and acrylic indoor courts with upgraded led lighting - excellent. The changing rooms were very classy but too crowded. We had a selection of food from the restaurant which was very good.
In summary. A very nice David Lloyd club with great facilities but it seems to be over subscribed.

Such a fantastic club, brilliant facilities friendly staff and members clean and smart throughout.

Had a great interaction with the manager Julia when I was last in the club who helped me understand my guest passes and helped my guests and she couldn’t do more for us.

I came into David Lloyd at 10.40 and it took over three quarters of an hour to get a simple drink. I had a business meeting and wanted to relax before going and as a result had to rush my morning. I noted that numerous people were served before.and I had to wait until the last moment before my drink was served. The staff are polite, but very slow. Second rate service, next time I will have breakfast before coming and save my time and money.

I recently moved to the area, and work from home, and I have to say that joining DL has been the best decision. It gets me out the house, I’m playing a lot of tennis (you do have to set a reminder and be quick to book because all the lessons sell out very quickly), I’m really enjoying the gym and spa facilities, and I find all the coaches very motivating (not just tennis but the other classes as well). Plus it’s a great working environment, as long as you get your desk before the pre-lunch crowd join. It’s been worth every penny so far, and long may it continue.

I have been a member for about eight months now.

This is a great gym with brilliant facilities and I drive a long way to get to it!

I got three PT sessions to start me off when I joined and they were so good I have carried on and it’s really motivated me. I have an old ankle injury and my PT Billy Sanders has been absolutely great at helping me get fitter and getting my ankle better as well. He’s got a lot of experience and is really good at adapting stuff for me.

I personally chose this gym because of the pools, there are two pools and the outdoor one is heated all year. I really enjoy swimming outside, and although I do a fair bit of wild swimming it is nice to have an outside heated pool during the cooler months.
Photos are the outdoor heated pool (in the rain) and wild swimming in a Scottish loch. The outdoor heated pool is definitely warmer.

I visited David Lloyd Cambridge for the first time today as I happened to be nearby to the club doing an errand for a family member (I’m a member of another DL club).

Really did approach the club with no expectations but had 3 hours to spare so packed my bathing suit. As soon as I walked through the door somebody immediately sensed I looked a bit lost and kindly asked if they could help.
From this moment on I felt really cared for, was quickly checked in to use the spa facilities.
And given a quick but effective tour.

The building is super impressive. Particularly love how the tennis courts feel part of the cafe. It reminds you that it is first and foremost a sports club.
Headed for the spa and all I can say is wow!!! It was a gloriously sunny day today, so the outdoor jacuzzi was just divine and I probably could have stayed out there relaxing all morning.
All the different health/steam rooms were fabulous. I enjoyed a lovely foot spa and the indoor jacuzzi was also something else.
I easily could have fallen asleep in a swinging pod in the quiet area. All lush.

Every member of staff was exceptional and I hope to be back very soon!!!! A step above!!
Came away feeling super relaxed. So a huge thank you.

The facilities at the Cambridge club are amazing. The tour which we had with Jenny from the sales team was amazing. She was very friendly and welcoming, showed us all the facilities and explained the membership options available. Following signing up she has kept in contact to ensure that we are settling in well which is a lovely added touch. The spa facilities are phenomenal with the wide variety and different spaces available it is a relaxing way to start the day or wind down after a busy day.
