We enjoyed our visit to the Lamb hotel. I really needed a ground floor room because of my mobility and the lady at reception kindly changed the room and got us a ground floor room. It was really comfortable with a lovely walk in shower. The hotel is very central to Ely eh ch is convenient. We are in the hotel the second night of our visit which was very nice. We would like to come back in the spring or summer.

Visited once for an evening meal while staying in Ely for the stained glass museum and was very impressed. Not many places have a special offer of 2 mains and 2 drinks for 25 quid. Way better quality than a Wetherspoons (low bar, I know) but also lovely decor and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

With the perfect location for attending this weekend's events at the Cathedral I will gladly overlook the location related issues such as road noise and accessing the Hotel's free car park. It's a City center after all.||The room was clean, the shower was amazing, the bed was comfortable. Do you need to know more?||The same friends that recommended we stay here also recommended the Breakfast, so we gave it a go. The Full English didn't disappoint with a good sized portion delivered promptly to the table (The service today (23/11) was a perfect 10/10 - Friendly, Cheerful, and Helpful. ||I would stay here again without hesitation based on this visit.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable in a large room. There were hangers but not much room to put other things.|There was a really nice range of choices for the continental breakfast but I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't have decaf coffee (only instant). This seems an easily rectifiable thing.|The hotel is very central for visiting anywhere else in Ely.

Excellent Sunday roast, and they were happy to supply extra gravy! Good atmosphere. Only drawback was that we were in a smaller part of the restaurant and it was difficult to catch the attention of a waitress. However, I love this place and will return soon.

This is a historic building that has been tastefully redone as a modern day Inn. There is a restaurant on much of the first floor and several rooms upstairs. Our room was small with 2 twin beds but sufficient and comfortable. Some other rooms were larger with different beds. We were there for Ely Day of Dance for Molly Dancers. We also toured Ely cathedral, Ely Museum, Wicked Fen, and Flag Feg as well as several restaurants.

The Lamb is a warm, welcoming, lovely old inn. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We liked the way the restaurant was spread over little rooms. We enjoyed both the food and the wine. Dinner at The Lamb was a perfect end to our visit to the Chrismas Market in Ely Cathedral.

This visit could not have been better. The Staff were welcoming and helpful, the rooms newly refurbished and the food and service were excellent.|We had a need for a disability room and I could cheerfully have spent a day in the wet room of room 33. The shower and facilities were magnificent. |One final touch, reception arranged for a mobility scooter to be made available to me. This was carefully looked after both before and during my visit making it possible for me to enjoy all the beauty of the disabled friendly city of Ely.|A truly memorable weekend.
