Excellent atmosphere in the lobby with classy furnishings. They had a nice pool table and lounge. Breakfast was delicious and the pastries were super! However, it was difficult to find the fitness centre from the lobby as there was no signage, but there are signs from the first floor corridor (which we missed). The pool, though small, was warm, and the sauna was also great. Good gym facilities too. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

The hotel rooms were like new. Thermostats needed continuous attention as they didn't seem to keep the temperature consistent. Other than that, it was great. Gym had good equipment and was very clean. Overall I enjoyed my week staying there.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel, just a 20minute walk from Cambridge centre. We stayed for one night and upon arrival was shown the nicest arrival by Mark at Reception who also upgraded our stay with complimentary breakfast. We stayed in a suite which was very comfortable with its own kitchenette. The modcons in the room really enhanced the experience such as screen mirroring accessibility on the TV- meaning you could watch films streamed from your phone. |The hotel also has a gym, pool, sauna and steam area which we really enjoyed. Pool table In the bar area is a great little touch too. |When the heating was difficult to put down in the room, we let Mark know and he offered us an extended check out until 1pm- customer service was second to none. We absolutely loved the hotel and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the hospitality.

The staff at this hotel were the reason for the 5 star review. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also delicious. We also had a room service meal and that was also top quality and ate at the cafe which was the same high standard. We were lucky to be given a room upgrade which we’ve never had with anyone else before. If we’re ever back in Cambridge we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

I had an unforgettable birthday celebration at The Folio Kitchen, located within Fellows Hotel in Cambridge. We opted for the festive menu at £55 per person, and it was worth every penny. The starters were absolutely fantastic—the smoked cod with pea purée was delicate and flavorful, and the baked Camembert with sourdough was a perfect combination of creamy and savory.

For the main course, both the roasted turkey and the roasted beef fillet were incredibly moist and cooked to perfection—each bite was pure bliss. The mocktails were refreshing and provided a great balance to the rich flavors of the food. It’s also great to note that the food can be made halal upon request when booking, which was a wonderful touch for our group.

We were treated to a lovely free dessert with a “Happy Birthday” message, and the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world—so indulgent and satisfying. The location is great, and the staff really made the experience special—they were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, an amazing dining experience and highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent food and service in Cambridge!

I stayed at fellows house Cambridge 15/02/2025.
We checked in and was waiting 4 hours for our room.
Constantly checking to see if there was any update they finally gave us a key to a different room 4 hours later to be given a room that was already occupied! Leaving us in a corridor for 30+ mins on an update of a different room.
This was discussed with at the time.

However, I’ve emailed and had no response from my recent complaint that from coming home from the hotel I have got bed bug bites on my body from my recent stay here and am now suffering!
This is unfair and unacceptable that I am experiencing this. I’ve had no response and the rooms should be checked thoroughly to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else!!
I’m in discomfort and my stay was an experience from hell.
Extortionate prices for what?

Outstanding service and staff. Beautiful hotel with great bar and restaurant. Perfect size exercise room well equipped. The room was perfect, attractive and the perfect size with great kitchen facilities— well designed. Easy walking distance to Cambridge Center. 5 star rating. I will come back!

Great hotel all amenities|Niche guest relations manager was fabulous, very attentive. |Only negative was the changing facility for the pool & Sauna, there are 16 lockers but room for one person at a time to change in the shower/wc room so don’t forget to change in your room first, ask for some slippers to go with the robe in your room. |Quality Hotel, will definitely return
