Some People here in these reviews seem to pay for a travelodge and expect a high end Hilton! Found the room clean, staff lovely, location fine. Nice American dinner over the car park. Will come back next time am down

Stayed here just before Christmas. The room had the beds made up but previous users towels were left on the bathroom door, bins un emptied, cobwebs across the windows, general bathroom cleanliness completely lacking. Some fixtures were worn out too despite website boasting of recent renovation. ||||||It was ok to stay and I chose it for the price.||Just a little disappointed at what passes for hotel hygiene now||

For what you pay, you can't complain. New room upgrade is still basic, comfortable bed, very quiet at night. Location is remote, nice diner across the way but nothing else in walking distance.

Hello. I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, as I am a worker away from home most of the time, it is very crucial for me to have a nice, clean, comfy room.
The service is unexseptable. First day stayed in, the room was full of dust, it was looked like no one cleaned there for a weeks, and I was supposed to ask personal to have a look on that, while I am away for a food. Also, no one is cleaning or changing towels during the stay.
The location of the hotel in the middle of nowhere. No shops. No restaurant. If you're without a car, you are stuck there, only a taxi.

If youre looking for a cheap, clean room then this hotel is good value with new room upgrades and an overall pleasant hotel. For c Β£30 a night you cant go wrong with wide comfy beds, flat screen tv, new furnishings etc.....theres a diner outside and nearby pub in village and a tescoes to the left as you exit the car park at bar hill, plenty eateries in huntingdon or village pubs. Receptionist was friendly and nice and theres a vending machine card only for snacks adn cold drinks, hot drinks are inside your room. Will be back when travelling.

Nice little hotel, hard to find though as at the back of a disused petrol station, although if you follow the signs for Herbies an American diner that shares the site with the hotel you will come into the car park.||||Rooms are spacious we had a family room Β£78 one double and two small put you ups, which was ample for our needs,||||Shower over the bath, clean and serviceable.||||All the team members were approachable and seemed genuinely happy and willing to help. ||||Not a lot of road noise at night but could hear the lorries the next morning- not really a big deal as you would expect this from this location.

Not much impressed. In the dark its a bit like entering an area on the outskirts of Beirut, no lit signage and its behind an abandoned, graffitied building. Dont be fooled by the 'New rooms' gimmick, because its nothing to write home about, blink and you'l not even notice any difference. Not the cleanest of rooms right across the board and the internal door handle came off in my hand. Sink had dubious yellow stains in it and the bathroom looks like something out of a Hitchcock movie.
Quite a bit of passing traffic noise from the adjacent A-Road. Reminded me of one of those roadside motels you see in American movies that people invaribly get murdered at. Receptionist even looked capable of staring in such a film.
I guess it was cheap at Β£55 for a Sat night but nonetheless not the standard you would expect from a corporation such as Travelodge. Must be paying their CEO to much Xmas bonus.

We stayed in a family room on the ground floor. The room was great, nice and big, one double bed, two single beds and an armchair and TV. It was a bit warm in there though and there is no aircon. They do however provide a fan.||The double bed was nice and soft, the single beds were a bit hard though, but they were all reasonably comfortable. The pillows were very firm though, and all exactly the same, including the spares on top of the wardrobe. They could do with a bit of variety as I found them very difficult to sleep on. I ended up with a sore neck and ear, and eventually had to resort to pulling my quilt around and folding it over as a pillow. ||The hotel is also a bit difficult to find in the dark, it could do with some better and more reflective signage. We completely missed it on the first pass.
