I've recommended The Copper Mine to a number of people, despite never eating there myself. I just know it's a great pub with an excellent reputation.

I finally got the opportunity to eat there this week and was not disappointed.

We managed to get in on the lunchtime service.. enjoying a beer, a coffee, a starter, and a main course. All for around £50.

Service was faultless and the food excellent.

Can't wait to return.

Visited for the first time in January with a group of friends for a midweek tea. Excellent choice menu with something to suit everyone. I opted for the steak pie which was absolutely delicious, packed with filling! Lovely atmosphere. I'll definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Just had Sunday Lunch at the Copper Mine.. Service was excellent, food was superb and very good value for money. Our dog was treated as good as we were and had his own bowl of beef and a bowl of water on the house… Very friendly, lovely food, Great surroundings!!! We’ll definitely come back.

We were in the area visiting family and they recommended this place. They were so right too. We nearly didn't get a table as it was very busy and we hadn't booked. Luckily we got one. The food was delicious and well cooked. My husband had the fish and chips and I had the grilled salmon. Will definitely return with all the family when we are next up and will make sure we book it.

First time we visited The Copper Mine through a recommendation.
Food, atmosphere and service was exceptional.
Shout out to Olivia who made it extra special who had noticed my husbands birthday badge and wrote happy birthday on the side of his desert dish. Little touches like this go a very long way. So welcoming. Definitely will be returning.

We had an early Christmas meal at The Copper Mine and we were all impressed. The 8 of us ordered in advanced the whole night went swimmingly.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and presented well. I asked for a recommendation for a nice pint of ale and was given the local Locomotion and it was great. The pub had a great Christmas vibe.

Happily go back went we are next in the area. Would recommend.

I love this place sincerely, although I have learnt to enjoy the savoury stuff and leave the sweet as there is no single dish that I don’t like.

We were even impressed that the fish fingers for the kids menu were actually real fish! Like proper battered cod!

We haven’t tried everything they offer, but we will be back.

Also, they have the best nachos I have ever tried, but they were too good to take a picture of them. We promise to upload one in the future.

Great food, I'm a regular for Sunday lunch, excellent value, many other regulars come back every Sunday. Best to book a few days in advance. Tried to book for Christmas Day lunch but they have been already fully booked since February - that says it all really.
