We recently had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at the stunning Grantley Hall, Ripon, with our friends. The service was good — from the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive care throughout our visit. The staff were friendly and ensured we felt comfortable and well taken care of.

The afternoon tea itself was excellent. The selection of teas was varied and high-quality, while the sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a delectable array of cakes and pastries were not only delicious but beautifully presented. Each item was clearly crafted with great attention to detail.

Unfortunately, our experience was somewhat affected by the recent heavy snowstorms. While we were inside enjoying the elegant atmosphere, the snow fell heavily, and when we returned to our car, we found ourselves having to dig it out of the snow in the hotel car park.

Despite the weather, I cannot fault Grantley Hall. The service was outstanding, and the afternoon tea was a true highlight. I look forward to returning on a future visit, hopefully under sunnier skies! Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for an exceptional afternoon tea experience.

We had a wonderful meal in 88. My wife had the vegetarian 8 course tasting menu and had the traditional version. Paired with sake and a cocktail or two it was a great meal. The restaurant manager Fatou and our waiter So, were very friendly, engaging and made the night special. The food was fantastic and we both enjoyed our evening.

We dined at the Fletchers restaurant at Grantley hall yesterday evening (22/2). The food was amazing, the staff were professional, kind and very accommodating. Our waitress name was Pip who was absolutely outstanding, the best service we have ever received. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff that made the experience so perfect.

We booked a suite for New Year’s Eve and the whole experience was phenomenal. The attention to detail was first class. The room once of the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. Staff brilliant. Warm, friendly and attentive without being oppressive. Food at 88 on NYE superb. Piper and fireworks. Memorable and magical.

This place is truly amazing! It features five different restaurants, each offering something unique. The stunning Japanese garden surrounding the property is absolutely worth seeing so serene and beautiful. Although I haven’t tried the spa yet, it looks incredible. The pool is equally impressive and looks fantastic; I can’t wait to try it out someday.

They also offer afternoon tea, the place is on the pricier side, but it’s a wonderful experience if it’s within your budget. Highly recommended!

What an amazing place. Everything was perfection. The meal was superb and the staff were welcoming, deferential and thoughtful.The Spa facilities were excellent and the ladies who did the treatments were extremely professional. Wow wow wow. 11 out of 10

Visted Grantley Hall to celebrate my 40th birthday with my wife. What a fantastic hotel, the service was amazing everyone is so friendly and welcoming. ||We started our day with afternoon tea, I have had a few afternoon teas over the years at similar venues and this is the best, the tea and food was exceptional. Even if you do not stay over at Grantley go for the afternoon tea you will not be disappointed.||For our evening meal we dined at Shaun Rankins, 10 course tester menu with wine pairing. The food was amazing as you can imagine at this level and the service over the 3-4 hours was second to none. ||Love to go back in the summer as did not have chance to walk the grounds with the amount of snow and look forward to trying out the other restaurants they have.
