Site in beautiful quiet location and lots of pheasants rooming round. Owls to be heard at night. Take a torch if you planning on walking round after dark. The lodge (Peel) itself quite large. Separate utility and boot area. It just in needs a deep clean rather than a quick wipe over and a bit of maintenance carrying out. Door very difficult to lock and step would have been handy to get in/out of hot tub. Shower not the warmest or most powerful. A pub/club on site main season but nearest local a couple of miles down country lanes.
