Best price quality you'll find in Portsmouth - better than you'll find in MANY much pricier 4-star hotels. If you're not looking for a luxury hotel, but rather a good bed and breakfast, why not this one? The service was flawless, breakfast was filling and served when agreed, the beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. It's an old building, so consider bringing ear plugs if you're not staying at the top floor or if you're a light sleeper. Iris, the host, is a straight shooter and a great chat. If you've actually made sure to agree on something per mail, she'll make it happen. Iris is more flexible than anyone could ask of a small business owner. The location is within walking distance of plenty of points of interest, including the Gunwharf Quays. There's a bus stop nearby, alternatively. At my time of visiting, I didn't find the road outside to be bothersome noise-wise. Yes, the rooms are small, but the decor is eclectic and funky in a great way, and the space is efficiently used. I didn't feel cramped at all.

I came to Portsmouth with a friend for a one night stay following a football match. We had two single rooms and the accommodation was ideal for us as essentially we only needed a bed for the night as we knew we'd be out all day. Check in was easy, the rooms were on the small side but they were clean and tidy and had everything we needed and the full English breakfast in the morning was lovely. Parking was easy to due to the permit we were given and we were able to park on the road a few doors down from the hotel. The bedrooms were at a nice temperature, the beds were comfortable and we both slept well with no overnight disturbance from anything. Overall we thought the Pembroke was very reasonably priced and good value for what we wanted and the next time we go to Portsmouth for a football match (hopefully next season) we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Lovely homely B&B within walking distance of Southsea Common, the pier, and gunwarf quays. Iris and her family were very welcoming and attentive. We opted for a nice cooked breakfast on both mornings of our stay. Straightforward permitted street parking was ideal. Would stay here again!

Big room clean and comfortable, great location. |Lady at reception is very helpful and pleasant. |It has a lovely garden, with benches and tables and an outside kiosk.|You can cross the road and theres a lovely diner for breakfast ,other meals also.|We had a early check in as we were going to a wedding that was so helpful.

Great little B&B, central location, clean & comfortable, everything in full functioning order. I was upgraded to a room that had both a double bed and a single. Hadn't expected an ensuite, but it was a pleasant surprise. Iris was extremely welcoming, rustled up a lovely English breakfast in record speed and kept me entertained when I might have otherwise been quite lonely staying alone. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again in future as it was lovely and I can highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay for four of us for Victorious festival for another year. Pembroke Park is a real find, with a clean, comfortable room and hearty breakfast. Iris is so friendly and welcoming it makes our annual visit a real treat.

Really enjoyed our stay here in a family room with our 7 and 3 year old. The room was a good size and had e wry thing we needed.|Free easy parking outside. The place had a lovely welcome feel about it, and host iris was super friendly. The cooked breakfast was great.

Clean and tidy room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, friendly and accommodating host, and free parking, all at an affordable price! It is also centrally located, with attractions and Southsea town centre all within walkable distance.
