The cleanliness of the hotel is great, I definitely couldn't fault it for that. The decor is also very appealing, very modern, with clean and sleek lines. The location is great, right next to the train station and opposite a well stocked Co-op.||The negatives that we experienced were as follows; we had to wait more than an hour to get access to our room (for which the hotel did give us a free drink voucher), but after a long drive we really just wanted to relax in our room. The sauna wasn't working, and we were not informed of this prior to our stay. There were many broken lockers in the changing rooms, which meant that our belongings had to be kept at the pool side. ||As I said, overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return on the premise that the sauna would be working and the other little issues would also be sorted.

Came here for impromptu lunch. This is a real hidden gem - stylish, elegant and modern restaurant. Very comfortable, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Particular highlight on the menu is the sea bass with tarragon cream sauce, really delicious and would be welcome in any top restaurant. Andy working there is very personable and a real delight. Excellent food and service all round, a very memorable visit. I look forward to coming back soon

A new, fresh and modern hotel with a Skandi design decor and feel. The rooms are well appointed, modern and provide for a comfortable nights rest.||||The hotel is well placed for a 30 second walk to Cambridge North Railway station where you can also get a bus to the city centre.||||Cambridge centre is about a 15-20 bus ride.||||The breakfast is amazing with. Really fresh well presented English and continental breakfast with lots of fruits, seeds, cereals and yogurt (amazing). I read the reviews about the breakfast being a little meehhh…. Not true; I can report that the breakfast was excellent food well presented. We didn’t try any evening meal so I cannot comment on that.||||The cons! Why only 3 stars?||||Water! It seems if water is involved then there is a problem.||||1) showers in the rooms - are cold and very low pressure. When you need a good shower go and stand in the rain outside, you get more water and it’s warmer.||||2) the “spa” - well the definition of a spa is somewhat overused here. The 15mtr ice cool pool and even cooler air temperature doesn’t make for a great atmosphere. The jacuzzi is a tiny sectioned off area of the pool, just as cool as the pool because it is open to the pool so you can swim in and the bubbles and jets can be easily be beaten by a well placed bottom trumpet. The so called sauna doesn’t have a door anymore so it wasn’t Avaliable for use. So the so called spa should be advertised as a 15mtr chill tank with a pitiful bubble bath at the end.||||Place also needs a good clean as it is somewhat grubby.||||I would suggest as an improvement the installation of a swinger spinnner, so your customers can dry their swim gear.||||IN CONCLUSION||||Nice hotel that needs some improvement and work on water related things.

We came for tea with a large family group as the location and parking were convenient. Good value, relaxed ambience, and space in the lobby and restaurant area. Tiago waited on us patiently and efficiently. We came for a quiet lunch a week later and appreciated the food, quiet and his welcome and waiter service again.

This is our third visit but left us disappointed, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, dirt around the taps, shower screen. Swimming pool there was only one lounger. Most of the lockers not in use (broken) it's ashame because we've had previous excellent service.

A lovely hotel in a good location, just off the A14 and right next to Cambridge North Station. Staff are fantastic, hotel is new and well appointed with a lovely pool.

Hotel is family friendly, good is very good on-site.

Staff have great local knowledge.

Car parking is chargeable, hotel isn't affiliated with the cat park, charges vary so be sure to check before you travel.

Train in to Cambridge central is very frequent and reasonable.

Brilliant service, lovely people. Great food and drink.. we stayed an extra night! Great fitness facilities. Tiago and the breakfast team were fabulous and very welcoming, breakfast was lovely, continental, english breakfast, coffee and juices. Would stay again!

Stayed here for one night with family. Location is ideal if you’re wanting somewhere with good transport links and not wanting to stay right in the city; not far from motorway and the train station is on the same site. We were able to visit Cambridge easily by hopping on the train. Excellent for parking. The room was clean, modern and the bed was huge. We also had a second bed made up which I believe was a sofa bed. The room was very quiet and must be well sound proofed! One thing I did notice however was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, I had to use hand sanitizer that I had in my bag. Nice big walk in shower with Rituals shampoo & shower gel, no bath which was fine for us, maybe some rooms have baths? Would definitely visit again.
