Beautiful hand crafted cakes and pastries, made on site! The Shop is a little out of the way and you wouldn't know the delights inside unless you happen to walk by. The name cookies gives the impression cookies is all the shop is about, that certainly isn't the case!

I want to thank the owner of Crookies for his welcome. It was the first time and I am delighted. It is very good and everything is fresh. We tatse a hot chocolate with different pastries in and also took pastries to take away. I recommend 100%!

I was pleased to hear that a French Patisserie had opened in Countesthorpe. My family and I went in there yesterday and sat with coffees and an assortment of cakes and pastries. It was so good. The coffee was great - no bitterness, just lovely coffee, and the best eclair I've eaten since the last time I was in France. The owner and baker, Youcef, was really chatty and friendly, and we all spent half an hour or so chatting. We went back there this morning to have another of the great coffees and tried different cakes, and we passed a lovely hour chatting and laughing with Youcef and another customer. The cakes and pastries we had were delicious. So we bought several different ones to bring home for later. We'll definitely be regular customers

A lovely bakery. Exactly what the town needed! The fresh cakes are made by a pastry chef (owner) and were delicious. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The decor is cosy and it was nice to stop by for a cup of tea and cake! I look forward to going again to try some savoury items on their menu too. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who fancies breakfast/lunch/snack. My mum said the lemon meringue pie was the best she had ever had! They have different cakes I believe on different days/weeks so I look forward to trying these on a future visit. Not overpriced either.

The best shop ever, the pastries are same as in five stars hotels and better.
I've been traveling in the world , but I was surprised to find a such place that could be privileged .
I highly recommend him and especially the manager who's the same chief is very friendly and kind.

Youcef made me so welcome, I was really hungry, & he promptly made me a delicious chicken sandwich, & tempted me to buy a lovely cake & a cup of tea! I also bought a selection of his cakes for my Granddaughter's Birthday! A lovely warm welcome place to enjoy delicious Food with a French origin.
