We came for Sunday lunch. Food was Amazing and staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much for any of them, thank you to Dee who served us throughout our meal such a kind lady & also Jordan who was also brilliant.

Our family came here on Christmas day (2024), and we were not disappointed! ||We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who offered to take our coats, and we were shown through to the dining room. There were welcome drinks upon arrival of either warm mulled wine or a non alcohol drink (maybe an option of prosecco would be nice). ||It wasn't quite time for our table yet so we enjoyed having a drink in the bar before our meal, and everywhere looked beautifully festive including the staff who were all lovely, very polite, and professional. ||Once it was time for the table we were shown through to the marquee that looked so magical like a winter wonderland with a stunning tree, perfectly dressed tables, lights above/decor, Christmas music playing, and a sparkly Xmas cracker for each guest. ||The food was absolutely AMAZING! |We had the vegetarian options, and thoroughly enjoyed every course! 😋 |the only minor change would be to have vegetarian gravy with our delicious main meal. Our other family members also really enjoyed their meal options including a traditional roast dinner. The mince pies and the other sweet treats at the end to finish the meal was also a lovely touch! ||During our fabulous dining experience, we were also surprised with a visit from Santa that was enjoyed by both the adults and younger guests. ||We had a brilliant time from start to finish, and it really was the Christmas we had wished for. Came here for afternoon tea with my family. Was greeted and looked after by Sharon and James who were both incredibly attentive and couldn't do enough for you, friendly and polite. The food was exceptional, huge portion sizes, service was fantastic. Would highly recommend having a sweet and savoury afternoon tea to share a bit of everything as it all tastes delicious. Thank you for a lovely time.

I invariably look at TripAdvisor and other reviews before booking places and there is always a bigger view than the odd bad (and some very bad) comments and for the most part appear to centre on a very sharp payment practices.||We saw this when before I had got to checkout I had already been charged. Now I get that sometimes there could be some customer issues, but when you have card details already, there is frankly no excuse for just taking payment without a customer in front of you especially as you should go over the charges with a customer in case there was an error. Clearly, if they drive off, then you have the details.||So a bit sharp !||Although the overwhelming spread on TA is Excellent or Very good (83%) ... which tells you everything really... I just ignore the 1* moaning minnies|||Also a tad surprised breakfast is up to 9am, again, a bit early (not sure if it is later for the weekend), but I read with some alarm that breakfast payments seems to have been taken regardless for some. Not our experience, but at the same time. All a bit too sharp as those terms were certainly not clear to me.||All sounds a bit negative doesn't it ! .... But not so.||We just booked a late night away the day before for the wifes birthday. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and attentive, terrace view lovely (although you do need a net curtain that goes all the way across and not just half way). The food was fantastic. Some Tapas to start then we both just fancied Fish & Chips. Very good and happily 'stuffed'. No problem at the bar although as I said, just expecting you to pay then is an irritant - you had card details and indeed took payment before we had breakfast (which was lovely). A bit off really as this is not made clear either online or on check-in. People cannot complain if they know after all ... but we (and they it seems) did not !||I would probably check on whether a large function is on. The place is not that large and if you booked a night or two and found a hoard of party or wedding revellers perhaps you might be a tad miffed. It happens in all hotels, but often they are much larger and a quite place is easy to find. Not here as it is not that large. Not their fault of course, just worth a check.||We plan to come back (not living all that far away) and have a tapas night but would happily stay again if opportune.||Ignore the moaners. The food was lovely and its a nice place to stay for a day or two. Non of the 'big chain' corporate feel at all.

We came here for our works Christmas ‘do’ on a busy fully booked Friday night. We’ve never been before only driven past and always liked the look of it and it is a lovely place! It’s clean modern and we had lovely warm welcome!|The food and service was excellent all the staff were friendly and in a jolly Christmas spirit nothing was too much bother! Connor and Kira were brilliant at their jobs on what was a very busy evening well done everyone we had a great time and will be back! Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️

My mother married her partner hear and honestly, all the staff, the bar team, etc. were amazing.
Very kind, very nice and the whole experience was well planned.
I did not stay in the rooms provided, but my family said they were nice and had no complaints.
However, one thing I will add when you offer your service to cater for a wedding you surly expect there to be children.
Outside was a patio, grass, even a pool.
Now, the pool was not secured in any way and children were playing round it, so easy they could have fell in, it had a pool sheet on it but that's even worse especially as it was not secured properly.
There were no signs, nothing.
I hope in future this will be sorted.
Overall, it was a nice experience, though.

We recently came to the Badgers Mount for an afternoon tea.
We were greeted at the reception and showed to a lovely table in the window. Served with a lovely range of fresh sandwiches, cakes and scones, Eton mess and fresh pots of tea. The service from arrival by Sharon was very friendly and all the staff were very attentive throughout. I Would highly recommend a visit and look forward to returning soon in the Festive period!!

Having visited Badgers Mount a number of times previously, we decided to book the venue for Sunday lunch to celebrate an 80th birthday. As the weather was kind to us, we were able to have pre-meal drinks outside by the pool, where our orders were taken, so no rush. Being a party of ten, we chose a variety of options from the menu and everyone was delighted with the outstanding food. We were shown to a great table in the marquee, with views of the countryside. Service was impeccable so a big thank you to all of the staff. A special family get together and more memories made. Highly recommend.
