Was in the function room for a wake and had drinks and a buffet. Everything was clean and parking was plentiful and free. Food was nice and plenty of it but it would have been nice to have had a little bit of sweet stuff as well as the savoury. Took a little while to warm the room up, perhaps the heating could have come on a little sooner. But a good experience, only a couple of minor points holding it off 5 stars.

Excellent accomodation, very helpful and friendly staff from check in to leaving. The room was quiet, warm, clean, and a lovely size, although, the shower door is a slide door, and I am a larger person, so it was a little close climbing in and out, but plenty of room once in. Toiletries are provided. The TV was a bit of a nuisance as there was a bit of signal issues, causing the programmes to stutter. Breakfast is served from 8.00, an all you can eat buffet for just £7, bargain. Food was piping hot and very fresh. Fruit juice, tea and coffee readily available. There are no tea making facilities in the room, but for the price of a room I think it would not be cost effective to provide this, however, you can easily get complimentary tea/coffee from the bar throughout the day and evening. Speaking with the management on this subject, it was suggested that they were considering a possible drinks package that could be pre booked at a small extra cost if the individual required it. This may work. There is ample parking, but there are also about 4 buses an hour travelling to the city centre, a day ticket would save a fortune. All in all, having spent a lot of the past year staying at a much pricier hotel further up the road, (I paid less for 3 nights here compared to 1 night at my usual hotel), I would recommend The Wyken Inn to anybody. I certainly wasn't disappointed, and I will be using them again.

My Second Stay for the Following Reasons. Easy onsite Parking. Security pin coded access for safety. Both check ins expertly done by Chantelle who made the experience easy and she answered all my questions. I found my room warm welcoming relaxing and extremely clean. A MASSIVE job well Done to the cleaners . I retired to my room after a night's entertainment in the Bar which was superb and had a quiet nights sleep. I awoke to an unlimited Breakfast the CHEAPEST in the area a service wash at the opposite launderette and a Haircut and Hot Shave at the Barbers up the road. Then Bus into COVENTRY as Regular Bus stop outside. Being a contractor this place offers EVERYTHING I need and it's the CHEAPEST in the area trust me.

Absolutely awful, my wife didn’t get passed the guy on the phone to consider even booking as he was as rude as they come. We were going to book the function room and rooms but we’ve decided to go with somewhere a little more professional that has better service.

We used to come here with family and friends for a catch up and a drink when it was a working mens club, had not been in since the refurbishment, we all met there xmas eve and were faced with a night club for youths, the disco was ear damagingly loud, we turned round and walked straight out, we ended up at the Wyken pippin which was lovely, yes we are of the older generation, such a shame the Wyken club has turned into this, will never go back..
