Lovely little place rooms basic but well equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, hairdryer.
Beds very comfy. Room clean and tidy.
Only down side was the room was a bit smelly. Smelt a bit of a Smokey musty smell. Opened the window and it cleared a bit.
Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic especially for £5.

There was no food in the bar Sunday evening but staff sorted takeaway menus for us.

Great for dogs lovely walk just across the road.

Room was nice and tidy equipped with everything you would need, microwave, kettle, plates, towels and hair dryer iron board and Fresh bars of soap...

The place is very small and basic just know this if you book at one of the stable rooms as I did, however given the price its pretty decent, complete dead spot for mobile phone signal, can be a little loud as it's next to the pub but not overly noisy.

Didn't interact with the people at all so no idea of their friendliness however the women I spoke to on the phone was pleasant

Needed to find somewhere up north to see family over Christmas, and this was a nice cheap location to stay over a week.

Our room had a decent TV, a Microwave, Fridge, Cutlery, Internet and a nice shower. The heating was great and the beds were fairly comfortable. It felt very homely and we settled quickly.

It's not the best place if you don't have a car, as you're in the middle of nowhere and you have no phone signal inside the building, you will need to walk out to get a good signal, but this isn't their fault. The nearest town is several miles away.

Overall, lovely little place and recommend for anyone travelling with a car or friend who's able to drive them up and down! X
