Average Opinion: The food is always delicious and prepared to order (takes a little longer but really worth it). All the meat is their own produce, and is superb. The staff are relaxed and friendly but the service is still excellent. The views are beautiful because it's high up and in a fantastic location. I love it. So do lots of others, it can be busy especially at weekends, but there are plenty of tables and seating outside.

Recommending: If you're looking for a delightful coffee shop experience with excellent food, service, and a stunning location, Broom House Farm Coffee Shop is highly recommended. We went here for breakfast.

We asked for water for the table.. when the person brought it over, there was a dead fly floating on the top. I pointed this out and she took the jug into the open kitchen, either tipped the fly out or took it out (?) then tipped the fly water into another jug instead of just getting us fresh water….
When she brought it over and I asked if I could actually have a fresh jug of water, as I had seen what she had done, she didn’t seem happy. So she filled up the same jug again, didn’t bother adding ice and then plopped it on the table with some dirty glasses. I shared a glass with my mam because the other glass was dirty and had red(?) splotches.
Surely it actually would’ve been less effort to just get us a fresh jug of water…

The food was alright, the bread topping was really nice.
The person who served us on the till was welcoming and kind.
£54 for 2 full breakfasts (pictured), 1 half breakfast, 1 breakfast stottie, hash browns and 4 coffees.

The farm shop itself is nice. I probably wouldn’t return..

I work nearby, but I happened to come along based on a recommendation from a work friend of mine and my goodness. The food is absolutely lovely and if you're like me and black pudding doesn't quite agree with you for the breakfasts, they'll gladly swap it out.

The staff are lovely, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Thank you!

I live 5 minutes away from this place and i never heard of it, i tried it for lunch and it was fantastic.
I had organic angus brisket and onion in a bun with blue cheese, the beef was so tender and tasty!! Beautiful! After that i had a slice of black forest chocolate cake, it was really nice! I didn't try the coffee this time but im definitely going back for it!

Definitely worth a visit. Cafe was lovely and had a fantastic range of homemade cakes. Lunch dishes were a little on the expensive side, but cakes ranged from £2 - 3.50, so about the going rate. The highlight, however, was definitely in the pig shed, where there was lots of gorgeous, happy saddleback babies and their mothers. Absolutely made my day stroking them 🐷

Came here on a damp Wednesday lunchtime thinking it would be really quiet but no. School trip enjoying the animals, people outside with their dogs & a hot drink and inside quite full but seats available. Had some scalding hot butternut squash soup and bread which was lovely (but not keen on the hard seeds sprinkled on top) and he had a crispy bacon sarnie and lemon drizzle cake. 2 teas (and they happily refilled pot) brought total to about £20. Free WiFi and lots of parking

Fantastic coffee shop. The food, in particular, was excellent - the bacon, sausage egg sandwich I had was precisely judged to appeal to the hungry cyclist. The raspberry and coconut cake was equally great. Add to that friendly staff and I shall definitely be back.

Is there anything that could be improved? A couple of the tiniest things could be useful: the farm shop has a big sign on it that says farm shop, but the coffee shop doesn't have anything. It's a first world thing, I know, but it would be more consistent across the site. The only other thing might be a sign on the coffee shop door to say 'come in, we're open' as it wasn't apparent to me that this was the case until I saw another customer coming out (I'd assumed it was as I'd checked the website first)...
