We enjoyed our stay at Homelands very much. The garden room was very cosy and comfortable, and the (cooked) breakfasts were delicious. We found the hosts, Glenda and Daniele warm, cheerful and welcoming. What was even more impressive was the patient and good-natured way they dealt with an errant courier company each day for a week that promised to collect a package I'd left behind. Five stars at least! Highly recommended!

Without doubt my favorite Guest House! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Glenda and Daniele.|We stayed 4 nights and so we had the pleasure to try their lovely breakfast! |(they also made sure that my little sister had typical children's breakfast)|The house interior is beautiful and the garden is very well kept.|Overall a true sample of kind and warm hospitality! |Thank you both! xx

We stayed in the Garden Room (chosen as the only one with a bath!) which was well appointed and the bed comfortable.|The Wifi did not work for us - despite asking the hosts.|TV (smallish) was limited to just a few Sky free channels.|Breakfast was plentiful if you chose the cooked option and very good. We did not try the cold options or fruit so cannot review.|We were given a 20% discount for the Bowes Museum by the Hosts (a definite plus!)

Had a great weekend, Glenda & Daniele, were both exceptional , caring and passionate. The room was beautiful, comfortable and cozy, the dining experience was absolutely to die for authentic Tuscan food outstanding. Definitely recommend, see you again soon.

Great and warm hosts Glenda and Daniele, very helpful with many infos for our staying. Very comfortable room with everythink you need, In the morning delicious breakfast prepared by chef Daniele (great pudding). Very good location near town center, public car park free always available. Highly recommended

Stayed in the garden room for just the one night in early September but will definitely return. Lovely hosts who provided a very warm welcome and possibly the best breakfast we have ever had from a guesthouse. If you're thinking of staying in Teesdale then put Homelands at the top of your list, you won't regret it.

Recently spent four nights at this lovely little guesthouse with excellent hosts Glenda and Daniele. I opted to have a couple of evening meals which were absolutely delicious. Breakfast also was lovely- all food freshly prepared and presented |In the area I visited ( amongst others) Raby Castle which is very beautiful. Also the Bowes museum should not be missed - the silver swan is worth the entrance fee alone! Also of course Barnard Castle is a lovely town to spend time in|Thanks again Glenda and Daniele for making me so welcome

Amazing italian hosts would definetly stay witht them again incredible brekfast with local produce with a beutiful garden and always helpful. The rooms where very spacious and the room had lots of tea and coffe and they played jazz in the dining room.
