This place is great! The site is a short walk to a gorgeous beach with a disused lighthouse. The park is easy to navigate and the shop on sight is fair priced (for a caravan park).

We stayed 3 adults, 3 kids (under 9) and a dog. The van was spacious but unfortunately ours didn’t have the gate on so we couldn’t let the dog free on the veranda.

We booked the free swimming which was a great pool if not a bit cold (you were warm after a splash about), the slide was good and the life guards were accommodating and cautious!

We booked on some of the pays activities: mini blaster , teddy making and zorbing, the kids loved these and as we had pre booked them when booking the holiday we didn’t feel the money dwindle on the day. All the staff who ran the activities were enthusiastic and fun, kind and engaging with the children. My constructive criticism would be that mini blasters could have some obstacles, or more things to hide behind . add team games perhaps, for more structure.

A great holiday, and one I would book again.

When you look at Hartlepool you think of the monkey, but Crimdon DeDene was a wonderful park. The caravan we had was in a very clean and tidy state and near the cliff. There is a cafƩ type place near to the pathway down to the beach which serves nice reasonably priced food. The path down to the beach is great going down, not as easy coming back, luckily we have a fox red Labrador who assisted on the return journey. The sandy beach is excellent for walking and exercising dogs. All in all a wonderful time, so much so, we are back in March 25 with our Daughter and husband, and their dog. Fish and chips delivered to our caravan were excellent too. 5 star holiday.

The view of the sea was stunning, and the walk to the beach was lovely. The caravan itself, though a little run down, was surprisingly spacious and offered the basics. The park is in driving distance of some excellent takeaways as well. The swimming pool was good fun, and the idea of booked timeslots meant it didn't get overcrowded. Special note about the staff at the pool, they were great, even going so far as to offer to turn down the music for our autistic son. ||Reception were very helpful throughout the stay. They rang us a few hours after we we checked in to make sure we'd settled. When there was an issue with our boiler, they instantly sent out someone to fix it, which was appreciated.||As for negatives. Check-in was 20 minutes late as the previous users of the holiday home had apparently "left it in a state". There were still marks and the odd Haribo wrapper around the caravan; we also had to chase reception for the travel cot we'd booked. ||The cooker didn't work too well, taking an hour to heat a meal. The entertainment building in the park is filled with claw machines and is pretty expensive for what it is. The bar was okay, and though there was entertainment for the kids at night, it was a bit lacklustre. The Nisa store on site didn't have much in stock, being completely out of fruit on the Sunday. Charging for Wi-Fi is a disaster as well, that's never a good sign.||All in all, it was a fun trip and we kept busy. There's plenty to do in the surrounding area, but the park itself was a little dire.

I stayed here for 1 week with three kids at the sea view accommodation. |The accommodation was clean and tidy. Bring your own toilet paper, sponge, tea towel and washing up liquid everything else is provided (TV, Bedding, Cutlery and Dishes). The view was lovely out of the caravan, had a perfect view of the sea.|The site was also clean and tidy with bins and even footpaths all the way around. There are a few parks scattered round that are well maintained. There is also a Nisa open everyday. |The reception staff who welcomed us were very helpful and answered all queries. They also passed on all relevant information including a map and activity schedule. (Natasha and Andrea)|The walk to the beach was about ten minutes but it is a few steps and steep ramps to get there.|The entertainment building was always well staffed. They have an arcade section with change machines and cash machines available. A restaurant serving meals all day, we never ate here but a staff member from there (James) was very helpful when one of my youngest bumped his head into a door. He was very kind and patient with him. The swimming pool had activities running all day and it is very easy to book these either at the pool or on the website. The staff were so good with kids making sure they were entertained. The main entertainment room had a list of activities day and night. The activities were always organised very well some were free and some you had to pay for. They had lots of themed activities to for Halloween. |Will definitely be booking to come back great holiday for the price.

Probably wouldn't stay here again, We were supposed to check in at 1600 at reception for our caravan and took over an hour, we were told by staff that the key had been left in the caravan and gave us a number for our caravan with the welcome packwe recived. Off we went to look for our caravan, we couldnt find it our van had no number on it, we went back to reception to ask for assistance regarding the location off our van. The staff on reception showed us the map again and said its just there. We then went off again trying to seek our van, once again we couldn't find it, back to reception again. Four times I had to go back to find out were the van was. A staff member struggled to find our caravan for us too, eventually she found it and took us to our caravan. No number on the van at all she said how we supposed to find it.? Once locating our van and eventually getting a key things seemed OK untill we entered the caravan it absolutely stunk off dog urine all the seat covers had stains, the carpets were stained too. Immediately I opened the windows thinking the smell would go, however the stink is still lingering. We thought our van was supposed to be clean it was supposed to be in good shape, the kitchen utensils were filthy and the oven didn't work, not enough gas pressure to heat it up, probably need cleaning out. Also the boiler whined all night when we put it on. We had to grill a pizza, There were missing light bulbs in the caravan along with broken doors. The area around our van wasn't particularly clean either with steps, pipes, veranders, sea weed and chairs. It seems park dean just threw the caravan together for us yo stay in. We have stayed with park dean on a few occasions however this is by far is our worst stay. On a positive note the beach is not far and the entertainment complex was ok. The pool needs to be re - tiled as I also sliced my toe on the steps in the pool. Expensive food and drink too.

Stayed on the Touring park for 4 nights. The pitches are small & the concrete pitch to park on is only just wide enough to put the motorhome or caravan on. This means you have to step out onto muddy grass. Wider hard standing would be beneficial.
The site map doesn't show where the elsan point is & there was only 1. Didn't use the facilities as we use our own. The club house was warm & adequate. Drinks & food were rather pricey. Nice to be near the sea. The first steps to get to the beach we were told by a local lady not to use as they were dangerous.

Last minute booking for a long weekend with the family. Caravan is beautiful. It's really warm and cosy and clean. Staff have been great helping with booking the swimming. Beautiful place to walk around. I've been coming here since I was a kid. Many lovely memories.
