On 17 May 2024, I ordered four Too Good To Go bags from Sandwich Express Ltd., and drove up from Hartlepool (EV) to collect.

I fancied a drive out and zero tail pipe emissions, so why not :)?

I wanted to try this place to see what their food was like and I kept seeing it on TGTG.

I picked up two bags for my parents, one for my sister and her son and one for me.

The site is really easy to find with ample parking.

The staff were really friendly and helpful.

I like to wait until I get home to find out what surprises there are. I couldn't believe the value for money. There were four sandwiches and four pies or slices/bakes in each bag. Absolutely unreal value for money.

At first I saw the prices of the sandwiches (£3-3.65) and thought to myself that I wouldn't pay that for a sandwich, but then I felt the weight of each one and how clearly packed with stuff they were. That night when I ate some of the stuff, I was really surprised and impressed by the quality.

I'm not a kidney guy, but I think two of the pies were steak and kidney and they were beautiful. The chicken curry bakes and ham and cheese bakes were beautiful.

The sandwiches were unreal. Packed full. I really liked the pastrami and cheese with American mustard sandwich, the gammon sandwich, the chicken tikka and Mexican chicken sandwiches.

If I knew more about the business I'd patronise them properly, but I'm guessing from the vans that they are mobile caterers for events, football or rugby games and that sort of thing.

I will absolutely use them again. Beautiful food and nice staff.
