Stunning stay! Gorgeous forest view outside the window. Beds were super clean and comfy! Bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries. Staff was super helpful and nice! Plenty of nice pubs and restaurants about. Aldi was about 30 seconds from the front door so great if you have a family! Would definitly recommend.

Nice place. Clean enough but damp growing up the walls. Comfortable beds. Wifi code could be explained better. Room very hot, had to open the windows and we heard lots of noise and screaming from the local pubs. TV is complicated to use. Manual could be handy.

I had an early meeting nearby and needed a quiet base close to the A1 with on-site parking. The site is managed remotely, keys are left in lock boxes, so I didn’t have to worry about arriving late and waking up owners to check in. The room was very comfortable with good WiFi, tea, coffee, toiletries etc. Although there wasn’t a desk in the room, there is a guest lounge with plenty of tables and socket points to work at in the evening. There are great kitchen facilities although I preferred to eat on the road. Would happily stay again if commuting in the area due to the good A1 links.

We stayed here for a long weekend in November 2024 to celebrate a birthday. We chose Quarrie House as it is located 35 minutes from Durham, 20 minutes from Newcastle city centre and less than one hour from Bamburgh. We thought this would be the ideal location to explore the North East and we weren’t disappointed.||Quarrie House exceeded our expectations. The pretty stone cottage is located in the heart of Cramlington, an old village with four pubs and some independent restaurants in walking distance. There is also a huge mall with cinema, chain restaurants and supermarket nearby.||The accommodation was very comfortable, the room was warm, extremely clean and quiet. The shared kitchen had all the equipment needed to cook our own meal (although we ate one night at the excellent Panuccis nearby!) The living/ dining room was also very nice and we laughed acting like children playing table football. Our car felt very safe in the private car park at the rear of the house.||We didn’t stay long enough and still have plenty to explore so we will be back! Thank you Quarrie House!

I was apprehensive to stay due to the many bad reviews from a few years back but I understand the guest house has now been extensively refurbished under new ownership.

I would highly recommended Quarrie House to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable stay in Cramlington.

It was immaculate - very modern, clean, perfectly located and because I was travelling on my own, safety was very important to me, and this guest house definitely felt very safe.

Stayed for a big family birthday celebration, the accommodation fulfilled all of our requirements, and everyone had a brilliant time. Rooms were welcoming and very comfortable, there was enough space in the communal areas for the various activities we had planned. Close proximity to a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. We can't wait for the next time.

We recently stayed at Quarrie House Guesthouse visiting family for the first time so wasn’t familiar with the area, however this was perfectly located for us! ||||The room was cosy and the bed was really comfortable, we both had a really peaceful night sleep after being around children all day so that was a blessing! ||||Highly recommended to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Cramlington, we will definitely be returning on our next trip!

What an absolute delight, the accommodation was modern, beautifully presented and very clean. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful, I really can’t rate it highly enough. I was concerned when I read some poor reviews, but now understand this was when it was under previous management and before it was extensively refurbished. I would definitely stay again!
