Really enjoyed my stay, made to feel very welcome by Karen. The twin room was ideal, very clean, slept well, breakfast tasty and the house is a good base for a walking holiday. Local scenery stunning, wooded coastal areas and imposing cliffs, luckily with some {not many} coffee stops on the journey.

This accommodation has to be the best ever. A comfortable spacious room with tasteful furnishing, large shower in the modern en suite with copious bottles of high end toiletries, plenty of beverages and cookies plus a coffee machine, excellent choice of breakfasts in the pretty lounge/diner all set in a modern well built house. Surrounded by fields and 1.5 miles from Hartland. So quiet. Ideal for visiting Clovelly and the stunning coast. 11 out of 10 for cleanliness. Spotless.

Karen is a fantastic host. We stayed in the family room, the beds were great, the breakfast menu is superb, and the location is excellent and very peaceful. This is easily one of the best BnB’s we’ve stayed in and we would highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Karen we loved our stay.

This bed and breakfast is amazing. A wonderfully comfortable room with a huge shower and lovely toiletries. As soon as I got into bed I thought 'wow this is a comfortable bed' and I had a wonderful nights sleep. The breakfast menu has to be seen to be believed - an amazing choice. Our food was beautifully cooked on HOT plates. My coffee was strong, plentiful and hot. The house itself is immaculate, beautifully furnished and spotless.
Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful with maps and local knowledge. You get the feeling that Karen goes out of her way to make sure the guests needs are catered for. I can't recommend Copps Castle highly enough.

Booked for one night to see a little more of the area after coming to a 60th birthday party in Barnstaple. Wonderfully comfortable bed, could even see the sea from the bedroom window. Great selection of hot drinks in the room and tap water in a bottle which was a nice touch. Not always happy with a fixed shower as I'm not very tall but the shower cap meant I had completely dry hair, and proper sized bath towels, so much better than the so-called bath towels most places (including friends!) provide. Breakfast was brilliant, so much choice as well as interesting people to meet. And of course Karen and Graham and Karen's soft furnishings. Really hope to come back.

This family has clearly worked very hard to make this a 5 star accommodation that would rival any five star hotel I have been in. (not that I have been in many). I would easily spend a week there. She is a wonderful host and you can tell she loves what she does. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with everything you could possibly need including robes! The breakfast offers are amazing. And we had the added bonus of finding out we had a friend in common with another guest couple. I suggest you spend more than one night there to enjoy the amazing area. Was easily the best stay of my vacation.

What a wonderful B&B, clean, the most wonderful shower, a working towel rail, comfortable beds I could go on and on. Karen was the perfect host and her husband very kindly picked us up from the SWCP to which a big thank you. Everything about this B&B is spot on from the lovely breaksfast, the comfortable surroundings to the peace and tranquility. Highly recommended

What a lovely BnB! Karen was an amazing host, we booked on very short notice and it was absolutely no problem. We stayed in the double room with external bathroom. It was an absolutely amazing stay! The room was perfectly equipped, calm and the bed very comfy. The bathroom was extraordinary, everything provided. Just lovely!
The breakfast was delicious, a large variety, fresh fruit, joghurt and a menu from Karen with freshly cooked breakfast - we were blown away, it was great!! We did not have to have any other food today, we're still full 🙂

The area is lovely, there are a few pubs in a short driving distance. Only thing: Make sure you get to an ATM before you come to the BnB because the next one is quite far away 🙂

Anyway: Absolutely recommend this accomodation, you shouldn't miss out on it! We loved it and I highly hope I'll get the possibility to come back one time!
