We spent three night here and found the room warm and comfy if a little stark. There is a tag in the room to put on your door to ask to have the milk/coffee etc replenished, tried that and nothing was done, ho hum sometimes you get what you pay for. A couple of issues needed addressing in the bathroom, bath plug not attached to the chain, floor a bit scruffy in the corners. Oh, and why isn't a bath mat supplied?|Not a bad experience but they could do better with a little effort.

I stayed at this hotel about a week ago, I don’t normally leave reviews but my stay was exceptional. The lovely lady at the desk was very helpful and welcoming, I think her name was karen. The housekeepers always made an effort to speak to me and my wife, Morgan and Paige are the names i remember they always stopped for a chat even though they were probably swept off their feet busy. Massive well done to the whole team you make this hotel. hotel smelt fresh and the room was nice and clean. there is a greggs and burger king across the road however quite expensive so I recommend travelling to the local pubs and restaurants.

No complaints with the standard Travelodge room - clean and comfortable. My room looks out onto the A19 but the road noise is not particularly noticeable. Karen at reception was very friendly and helpful. Parking is free as long as your numberplate is inputted to the tablet by reception.

After being subjected to a holiday scam which meant I had to cancel my bank card, I found myself miles away from home with no where to stay with my dog! I only had cash on me & was unable to make a reservation without a card, on the verge of tears with the helpless situation I found myself in, the staff (Karen) went above & beyond to make sure she could find a way for me to stay. I cannot thank her enough. Her warm, kind and sympathetic attitude towards me meant a million dollars after the horrendous day I had. Thanks Karen! You're a credit to the hotel industry.

Room is dated, no power points near the top of the bed so can't charge phone and use it at the same time (while in bed). Although the shower was hot enough, the pressure was woeful. Anyone washing long hair will have fun washing out that shampoo. No iron in the room (or hairdryer). Both of which I'm sure are available from reception. Noticing more and more that irons are not provided in the room as standard which is not an issue, just an observation. Bed comfy. Staff are very friendly and polite.

Stayed here 14th of January..
Alex & Morgan we’re on reception and we’re really pleasant to deal with.Nothing too much trouble !

My room was also really clean thanks to Jen..also had a fantastic sleep 😴
