We had a wedding to attend nearby so wanted somewhere reasonable & near to stay. ||What a lovely B&B full of history. My husband loves old buildings & history so this 16 century cottage was perfect for him. ||Fifi & Tim the owners made us extremely welcome. We stayed in a down stairs double bedroom. We felt like we had our own quarters. With a lounge , bedroom & ensuite. We even had our own front door, so could return late without disturbing anyone. ||Breakfast was delicious. We ate in the kitchen whilst chatting to Fifi & Tim about the history of the cottage. Food was plentiful and hot. ||I understand that the proprietors are winding down now and only have one room available for booking. However I wouldn't hesitate to return and stay should we be visiting this area again !

Recently stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearby. A total of four of us stayed; two in the twin suite downstairs and two in the double room upstairs. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. The tea/coffee facilities in both rooms were a lovely bonus as well as the jug of water and glasses. Both rooms had private bathrooms which were also spacious and modern. ||We also had our own guest lounge to relax in with a lovely fireplace, TV and comfortable seating area. The couple were very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful, even when we were stuck for a lift back from the wedding venue they offered without hesitation. The overall B&B came across as homely and we loved the ornaments and interesting pictures; especially the ones for sale that had been painted by one of the owners. ||Breakfast was delightful; offering a selection of English and continental breakfasts and a selection of breads and home made jams that were absolutely delicious! ||Couldn't ask for any more, we were well looked after and would definitely stay again in future.

We stayed in the Old House Hilton because we wanted to visit Ironbridge which was nearby. Fifi and Tim, our hosts were absolutely charming. The breakfast was hot, delicious and cooked to perfection. Our room was filled with tasteful ornaments and classic pieces of furniture, really in keeping with the age of the property. There were no problems with Parking and the amenities were excellent. We would definitely go again as it was really good value for money. The B&B came first in the show 'Three in a Bed" !!!

Great stay at The Old House B&B. The house is very atmospheric and authentic, very much in keeping with the style of the building, decorated with lovely paintings and ornaments. ||||The room I stayed in had separate entrance which was very useful as I was attending a wedding, so felt more comfortable knowing I wouldn't disturb anyone coming back late.||Large double room, very comfortable bed with gorgeous crisp embroidered bedding. en-suit bathroom with plenty of towels, all very clean. There was a little tray with china cup for tea/coffee and fresh milk left for me when I got back - which was much appreciated!||||The hosts Fifi and Tim are simply wonderful, they made me fill very welcome, explained everything and even offered to drop me off to the wedding. ||||I had a fabulous cooked breakfast, croissant, toast with home made jam, tea/coffee and all served beautifully: china cups, lovely linen napkin with crocheted edge, nice cutlery. Lovely experience.||||The only thing nice than that was charming, warm and interesting company of my hosts. Thank you very much!

My partner and I were attending a wedding nearby so booked in at the Old House Hilton as it was the nearest B&B to the venue. Fifi and Tim were very welcoming and keen to make sure we had all we needed before we dashed off to the wedding. Comfortable and very large king size bed in the downstairs suite and a private bathroom with a powerful (although noisy) power shower. Breakfast the following day was very good and Tim even gave us a lift to collect our car from the wedding venue.

Three night stay through AirBnB which was delightful. ||Characterful 16th century house with quirky features, beautiful interesting artifacts and set in a lawned garden.||Welcoming warm and friendly hosts Fifi and Tim for which nothing was too much trouble.||Our accommodation was two large double bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the first floor. We had use of the guest lounge on the ground floor which was cosy and snug together with the adjacent kitchenette to prepare hot drinks and continental breakfast.(including Fifi's home made jam and marmalade.)||The location was ideal for visiting Bridgnorth and we had an excellent meal at The Wheel in Worfield which is about a mile away.

I've stayed here three times and would happily do so again. It's a really traditional old half timbered house with loads of comfy character. Delightful sunny private garden, clean cosy rooms, and a relaxed friendly welcome. Well placed near the pleasant town of Bridgnorth, easy to access Wales, the Marches, and the West Midlands, but set in a small country village. Ask for the home made marmalade!

We loved this place in Stourbridge it's a listed building very very old . our hosts Fi and Tim were absolutely delightful. We had a lounge , small kitchenette and bedroom and absolutely everything we needed for our few days stay visiting our daughter in the Black Country. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and it was so Central to all the different things that we wanted to visit while we were there. Would definitely stay again.
