This was our last but one stop during our touring holiday and was the best - nothing is too much trouble.||The rooms are large with good sized en suites and spotlessly clean. the choice of breakfast is everything that one would expect and the granola bars are really lovely.||Thank you both for a super two nights.

This is the best b&B we have ever stayed in, having been before. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. Ang's cooked breakfasts with eggs from their own chooks follow cereals, fruit and yoghurt, juice all served with tea and coffee and toast. Nothing is too much trouble. Glenn serves with a smile and a cheery morning greeting.|The rooms, comfortable, clean and well stocked with toiletries and a good hospitality tray are serviced each day. The views from your room are stunning and the area is quiet and peaceful.

You will not find a better guesthouse than Silverdale! Can't fault it! Lovely friendly hosts Glenn and Angela , spotlessly clean rooms, breakfasts are amazing. They go that extra mile and very reasonably priced.
In a beautiful part of the country, so peaceful yet lots to see within a short drive.
Our 2nd but not last visit by any means!

We had a wonderful stay at Silverdale Farmhouse. Glenn and Ang could not have been kinder or more welcoming hosts. Our rooms were stylish and comfortable, and breakfast each morning was a treat, whether a perfectly boiled egg from their own hens or something more substantial. The location is excellent for sightseeing whilst also being peaceful.

An absolute gem in the Northumberland countryside. We always look forward to staying with Angela and Glynn in their beautiful home. Lovely spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a delightful garden to relax in, a warm welcome and superb breakfasts. Fresh eggs from their own hens, usually seen in the garden. We had a room on the top floor with lovely views. A great place to stay.

This farmhouse is wonderful, you will never regret booking a stay here. The owners, Ang and Glen are so very friendly and caring and after one of their marvellous breakfasts there is no need to eat again until evening! The rooms are so very comfortable and the farmhouse is in a lovely area with so much to do and see.

Another great visit.||Having had an excellent stay at Silverdale B&B in 2023 it was a very easy decision to re visit and explore more of the area this year.||Although the UK summer sunshine has been slow to appear, thankfully the Silverdale team of Angela and Glenn continue to offer the warmest of welcomes.||The Farmhouse B&B continues with the highest standards, excellent comfortable quiet rooms and of course Angela’s breakfast.|(no lunch required) ||Please see review of 2023| |Keilder water is approximately an hours drive away, which was on this years to do list, along with a scenic drive into the Scottish border area.

Thoroughly deserves its 5 out of 5 stars. Beautiful view, spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast (including eggs from thier own happy hens!) warm welcome, and attention to detail (like little flasks of proper milk to make tea and coffee instead of UHT sachets, and beautifully presented breakfast bar). Complete silence at night for a really restful sleep! An absolute gem.
