I was pleasantly surprised with the property and it's facilities. Our room was large and the bathroom was huge, renovated, really clean and in good condition. The bedroom was a good size for a couple with room on the floor to put suitcases and other bags. A desk area as well and a bench for food and a really good quality Colombian coffee provided.||||Breakfast was good, a small array of fruits, cereal, yoghurts and juices and cooked breakfast to order.||||The B&B isn't near public transport, so you need a car to get there. Off street parking is available. It's only a short drive from the coast and some castles.||||Run by a friendly husband and wife team along with their daughter.

Spent a great two nights at this very charming and cozy B&B, hosted by Graham and his family. Had the room on the top floor which was comfortable and spacious, even with two small kids. Loved the bucolic setting and views of cow pastures out the large windows, along with plenty of tea and cookies in the room. The breakfast was good enough, though maybe not the best cooking on our trip.

An excellent B&B in every respect. Immaculately clean and well-provisioned bedrooms and shower rooms; strong enough wi-fi; good choices for breakfast; easy off-road parking; convenient for the A1 main road; very obliging owners. It couldn't be more rural and so is not within easy walking of a town or village, but very convenient by car for Morpeth and places to the north.

Stayed here on a business trip. Room was very comfortable indeed and immaculate. Bed was cosy and the cottage very quiet, so had an excellent sleep.
Owners were really nice and incredibly helpful.
Breakfast was great with ample portions of everything.
I would recommend this B & B very highly. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed overnight for a wedding nearby. I had the family room at the top of the house and it was great for the price. Very comfortable, lots of nice touches and amazing views from the large window. ||Hosts were very welcoming and were kind enough to give me a lift to collect my car in the morning. ||Breakfast was nice and for a sensibly priced bed and breakfast it was good value. Thank you.

We stayed here at the end of June. The owner could not have been more helpful. The house is much more interesting than it looks from the outside: themed interiors, and a charming collection of blue and white china in the conservatory, where we had a truly delicious full English breakfast. We slept in the attic bedroom which was surprisingly spacious and comfortable (and very well provided with teas, bathroom stuff, etc.) and with lovely views as far as the eye could see. There is a good pub with grub half a mile down the road. I would definitely recommend this B&B.

We had the downstairs double room which was spacious and comfortable, although with a little traffic noise, (not enough to keep us awake or wake us up). Good breakfast. A good place to break a journey - rather than as a destination in itself.

Positives- room good and spacious albeit ours was in the roof with very steep stairs . Nice view. Friendly couple.-need more experience in this line of work.|Breakfast - very disappointing - owner needs to go to cooking school.|Do not leave any jam in the small Tiptree jars or you will get it the next morning to finish.|The photos on the website I believe are from the previous owner and do not portray it as it is now.
