Only ever visited, back in the day, when the seahorse was a popular pub used for parties etc. We came a while back for a family meal and was extremely amazed at the food, lovely decor and ambience. We have returned for Sunday lunch and it was equally as good. All round it’s nice to have a local place to eat that has quality food at reasonable prices. They also do gluten free. Highly recommended.

Loved the bed and it was clean and tidy. ||Had a bit of a strong smell of tabs but with our perfumes it quickly masked up. ||I’d say it’s a nice place to spend a night or two if you’re visiting Blyth.||Could really use of toilet amenities for the price or at least some body wash.

Nice pub with lovely separate dining area and newly modernized rooms. My evening meal was better than any I've had at the Commissioner's Quay, where the rooms cost almost twice as much.
