The perfect haven for our Christmas road trip. Pam welcomed us and made us feel so at home. Thrilled to see the Christmas tree! The welcome basket of goodies is a thoughtful touch too. Impressed by how clean, comfy and well maintained the lodge is (we stayed in Elm lodge).|We visited Castle Howard, Harewood House and Harlow Car for their amazing Christmas experiences. We also loved York and Harrogate (Betty's tea rooms - heaven).|We highly recommend this lodge. Thank you Pam and Pete!

Really nice, clean lodge. Loads of space, and far enough from anywhere to provide peace and quiet and beautiful clear night skies. Owners seemed lovely and were super helpful. Just one word of advice, all the local cafés and restaurants seem to like cash, which was a bit of a change for a city family.
I'd have given 6 stars if it would allow!

Recent visit well worth it. Lovely lodges, all private and quiet. Owners were great and friendly. Wanted a chilled few days relaxing and got that on a lovely site. Hot tub was spot on very clean, lodge was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. If I had 1 downside it's 4 days wasn't long enough so planning on a 7 day break in 2025. Thanks Pete and Pam see yous next year. We'll bring the sunshine mini again.

We stayed in Holly Lodge to see in the New Year. We arrived an hour early as traffic was lighter than we anticipated, no problem for Pam who opened the gate and showed us around the lodge.||Nice little welcome basket which was a very nice surprise. The lodge was absolutely immaculate throughout, it looked like nothing had been used. The central heating (which was needed as -4 during 2 nights) worked an absolute treat and stayed warm after needing to turn it off because of the heat.||Hot tub had a new lid on that kept the heat well when not in use and was absolutely huge. Nice secluded area that overlooked a field. We saw the northern lights and watched shooting stars on a clear night sky whilst sat in one night.||We are serial lodge stayers and electrical power points are always an issue…not in Holly Lodge, you can’t go wrong with the amount of power supplies throughout the lodge there are!||The only draw backs we found (which are quite trivial) are:||The lodge is carpeted throughout which is immaculate but there is no hoover is cater for any mess made (luckily we stayed on top of it with the kids).||There is no toilet roll holders so toilet roll tended to roll away from the toilets.||The master bedroom door wouldn’t shut correctly nor would the master en-suite shut and stay locked.| |Absolutely everything you would ever need in a basic kitchen apart from tongs.||That was genuinely it, nothing that wouldn’t stop us from coming back again. ||Thanks for having us.

Lovely and clean private hot tub. Lodge was spotless too and provided all we needed. Been here before and can't recommend it enough. Pete and Pam are super friendly and helpful. Set in a peaceful location in an ideal place to be able to go out for days. We drove to the park and ride and went out on the train to a variety of places using our railcard. Beamish is only an hour via train too.

We were met on check in and given lots of useful information, no stone unturned. Local knowledge shared. Both proprietors were so helpful. Lovely quiet site and the lodges well set up. We would certainly use this site again if visiting North Yorkshire.|It was well situated for York with plentiful park and rides to York, which would be the best thing to do as parking in York is very expensive. |This is the only site were we have thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub as it has been laid out to make that area very private and pretty. Good car park standing next to lodges. |Easingwold itself is a lovely village with a Co-op and a Morrisons for food supplies, short distance into Easingwold from the site. Very relaxing and friendly area.

We stayed here as a family of 4 for the weekend. The location was perfect, Easingwold being 2 minutes away and York only 20. The lodge was immaculate, and cleaned to a very high standard. Very friendly owners and the site being small it had a lovely feel. We would 100% recommend and will definitely return. Thanks!

Me and my partner stayed in the Ash lodge for a quick weekend get away and it was amazing! The lodge was very clean and had absolutely everything you could think of in which you may need. Very peaceful and tranquil which we loved and the hot tub was also amazing and you can tell they are kept to high standard just like the lodges. We travelled into Easingwold for a Sunday lunch which was also lovely and only a 5 minute drive away. Pam and Pete was very welcoming and it was great to gain some knowledge about the lodge so we was able to use everything without a problem. We arrived home today and have already booked a longer stay for my birthday next year as we enjoyed it that much! We are definitely counting down the days we cannot wait to come back! ||Thank you so much for a lovely stay, your lodges are a credit to you 🙂
