Excellent stay at the Hartlepool Marina with family.

Still got the manned check in desks at the time of writing, which is great. Well maintained, clean rooms, plenty of parking and well located.

Staff very helpful and friendly, with any lack of prompt service down to the usual low level of staffing in Premiers' these days, rather than the willingness of the staff.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Ash, Liv, Sophie and Becks. Made my stay. Room excellent and so quiet and peaceful. Love this place. One of the best PIs I have stayed. My kids loved it too when I was last here with them. I remembered Sophie from that stay as she was so helpful when we arrived late. Pleased to see her here still and now with many other helpful colleagues too, including David on night shift. Highly recommend. 5 hours sleep here is worth 8 in my place in London. Restaurant serves great bf and dinners too and with friendly and helpful staff.

We were given Rm 21. On arrival I dropped off our night bag and immediately thought the room didn’t smell fresh. I had a busy itinerary but after arriving back noticed little black flies, several of them the minute I pulled the bedding back. Everything about the room didn’t feel right and after a quick drop off of night bag which I decided I wasn’t opening It was two hours before I returned to the room. It has accumulated to eventually calling reception at approximately 22.14 and asking to be moved. The room on arrival was very cold and I’d asked for a further heater. Staff delivered this and looked at me as if asking me to repair the loose caster wheel The words said were, ‘sorry the wheel is loose?’ After meal at the adjacent dining my husband and I have returned to the room with our wine which has escalated the amount of black flies in the room; completely awful. I’ve had to go to reception and ask to be moved. Person on reception has been completely helpful and understanding and moved us to another room; albeit at our inconvenience. On entering the further room it has been immediately evident that the room we were previously given requires a ‘Deep Clean.’ Completely not acceptable!!!

We frequently stay here at this PI, but rarely eat there. We stayed Friday the 6th of December and this time tries the meal deal. We waited the best part of an hour for the food as there seemed to have been a mix up with the order.|The shining light in the experience was Hakim. What an assett to your business he was. Polite, friendly, helpful and acutely aware of all his tables and customers. I understand he is maybe a casual helper (I think his wife is maybe a manager there). I can't speak highly enough of him. There was another lady who also tried her best and was also appreciated. |I wasn't a big fan of my main meal, but my crumble was delicious.

Lovely location overlooking Hartlepool Marina. Reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful especially Hayley. We had booked an accessible room with a wet room. Unfortunately the room was a long way from reception so I had several journeys too and from the car pushing a wheelchair and carrying luggage. The room was up to the usual high standard of Premier Inn. Amazing nights sleep. A lovely touch with a packet of biscuits left for us - never had that before. Only issue was on a morning we struggled to get down the corridor to go to breakfast as the cleaners were doing the rooms and we had to negotiate 4 trolleys getting them moved into rooms as we couldn’t get past. Lovely comfortable stay.

Lovely hotel and good location, free parking etc. |Best element of the hotel is the lovely friendly Staff. Erika on the reception team was particularly helpful at check in and giving us some local information, recommendations on restaurants and things to do for some friends and family who were staying in the area whilst visiting. Such a lovely team of staff. Customer Service was 5*

Staff are amazing and nothing too much trouble. I would especially like to mention Sophie who was a super star with nothing being to much trouble, along with Ashley and Matt, I stay in around 3 premier inns every week with work all over the UK. This is the best by far .
